eyelid swollen
My son 18 has a right lower eyelid painless swelling since 5 months. It started as a light swelling then increased uver a few days. No amount of hot fomentation helped. Then raised bumps began to appear inside the eyelid. All antibiotics failed to give relief. Doctors said the bumps were 4 chalazae. Homeopathic remedies were tried like Staph, Silicea but they only increased the bumps inside the lid as well as the swelling. Finally I tried CALC FLUOR which helped reduce the bumps within and reduce the eyelid swelling somewhat but it is till pretty swollen and swells more during and after sleep. Can anyone help me get rid of this swelling.dk111 on 2011-05-09
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Have not tried Sulphur or Apis yet.
Tried Hepar Sulph, Arnica and Pulsatilla all of which aggravated the swelling.
Only positive result was with CALC FLUOR but after some time was forced to stop this as it caused side effect of large boils and pimples and an abscess too on the face although tissue salts are not expected to have side effects.
