Chronic Constipation and IBS

I have IBS with Chronic Constipation for about 30 years now. I have added fiber, seen doctors, been on Zelnorm which did not work well at all but then they pulled it off the market. I have tried prunes, prune juice, cereals high in fiber, I take metamucil daily to no avail. the only way I can have a movement is with laxatives and they are awful. I go weeks at a time with out a movement. No doctors have been able to help me. Please if anyone has any ideas i will try them. I have taken probiotics, magenuism and a mirade of other things nothing works.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take Alumina 30 in the morning and evening for one week and report back.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.
