kreosote 30c and calcarea phos 6x

I have a 40lb 3.5 yr old child with tooth decay see picture below. I ordered the following kreosote 30c and calcarea phosphate 6x.

How do these medicines work ? What do they treat?

I need detail instructions:
1. How much do I give how often? Before breakfast on an empty stomach etc..?
2. What is the lenght of time he needs to be on this is it all year round? or just 3 weeks etc...?

Would you advise anything else for me to help him with his decaying teeth?

Thanks a million

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I hate to tell you this, but that is not how homoeopathic remedies are prescribed. We have many different kinds of remedies for decaying teeth in children. The proper one is chosen on the basis of the whole case, not just that one symptom.

There is no real predicting what using those remedies will do, without knowing for sure that they fit the rest of your child's case (mentals, emotionals, body-wide symptoms, sleep, appetite etc etc).

As a practitioner I would feel very uncomfortable suggesting a treatment plan unless I was sure the remedies were correctly indicated.

If you are determined to go ahead with it, this would always be the way to do it.

Firstly, give only one remedy at a time. Either use Calc-phos or use Kreos, not both.

Secondly, you need to prepare a dosing mix. Dissolve 2 pillules into a small bottle (15-30mls) with a dropper, that has 1 part alcohol and 5 parts water in it. This will be your dosing bottle.

For any dose you give, hit the bottle twice firmly against the palm of the hand. Place 1 drop into 1/4 cup of water (62mls) and stir. Give 1 teaspoon out of this and throw the rest of the cup away.

For Calc-phos 6x, you can repeat this daily for a week or so. For Kreos 30c, give one dose only and wait 3 days to assess the reaction. If there is no negative effect, you can repeat it another 2 times, giving one full day between each dose.

At any stage, if your child becomes worse in any way (aggravation) you must stop and seek advice. If your child develops any new symptoms, also stop immediately and seek advice. While there is no change in the symptoms, and certainly no negative effects, you can continue.

One of our medicines is most effective when chosen on specific kinds of symptoms, preferably from many different locations and levels of the person's health. As long as that is done homeopathy can perform minor miracles. When chosen in the same way orthodox medicines are chosen (on the name of the disease or specific symptom name) they are much less effective, and like orthodox medicine run the risk of producing side effects.

David,

I have seen many dentist that would like to put my child under a half a day of dental surgery. I don't want to go through that approach since these are his baby teeth. As a concerned mother I am seeking advise from professional homoeopaths like yourself with no disrespect to how you triage a patient. If you can refer me to someone in the ny area I would be more than happy to bring my child.

Unfortunately I have no referrals outside of my own country. However we can try to advise you here if you like. Face-to-face consultations are always the preferred option though.

It is important to describe all your problems in as much detail as you are able. One word answers and short sentences are not particularly helpful. Discuss each problem one at a time, providing (as a minimum level of detail) the following information.

1. What exactly happens?
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring?
4. What creates some relief for the problem?
5. What triggers the problem into occuring?
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur?
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?

Please provide the following details as well.

1. The specific foods that he craves (not just likes) or hates
2. The specific drinks that he craves or hates
3. What his sleep is like
4. How the weather and the temperature affects him
5. What kinds of things in the environment he us particularly sensitive to
6. What his general level of energy is like

7. Also give these details

a) Body type and build
b) Skin colour and texture
c) Areas of the body tends to perspire on
d) Odour of sweat, body, stool, flatus, urine
e) Colour of stool, urine, sweat

1. What exactly happens?

10 month of age he hit his two front teeth against a furniture piece and caused it to get bruised. Tooth turned purple and color went away. I would give him a bottle before going to bed at night, he also needed a pacifer during nap and sleep time. We notice a couple of months later and saw a brown spec, we went to see a pediatric dentist she drilled the front two teeth and placed a filling on both of the front teeth. These filling only lasted for two months if lucky and they would pop off. We then saw another dentist and advised to leave the teeth alone. Due to the tramatic expericence from the dentist office he didn't want us to brush his teeth. We brushed sometimes it was a struggle in the begining. Only to find that the teeth problem started to spread all on top little by little to the point of today were the enamel is gone on the top of the teeth by the gum line. I posted a picture. I consistently brushed his teeth 2 times a day. If he eats anything sweet he rinses with water.

in a unfamiliar enviorment

he tends to be shy and will cling onto me until he feels comfortable to break away. Will not go into to a unfamiliar setting without me ex. went to a party where he knew no one. they had a child party bus show up all the kids went in . he needed me to go in with him. Is irritable when he doesn't get enough sleep (crying, yelling, irritable)

What kinds of fears and anxieties does he have?
seperation anxiety-I tired a drop off situation that caused him too much anxiety and stop it immediatley I didn't want to stress him. I stayed in the classroom with him for one week trying to leave when he was a little over 2 yrs old and would try to walk out at some point but he would yell, cry , and painic. I removed him immediatly and continued to do mommy an me classes all three of us. He has been a stay at home child with me and my 18 month old daughter. Anxious at the dentist(teeth drilling) office and doctors office ( vaccination)
He is curious with caution.
