Chronic eczema

Hi,

I am having severe eczema in my groin area(nowhere else) for almost 10 yrs.

I have applied so many ointments,medicine...but no cure,I am disgusted of this and sometimes think of committing suicide !!!

Recently I visited a Homeopathy doctor and he said that this itching is just a mirror effect of my other internal problems.
For information , I have sinus kinda problem and I tend to develop Carbuncles in the lower portion of my body often .

I am now taking PETROLEUM 30 .

Is there any remedy for me ??? Pls help...

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
If you are taking Petroleum, then you are already under treatment. Why are you asking for further prescriptions - do you not trust your homoeopath?

As I already said...I have not seen much improvement...guide me what medicine should I take and for how long...also mention the daily dosage details...!!!

Doctor had previously mentioned not to use any ointments...but when situation become worse,I apply some ointments which only gives temporary relief.

shamikbis9 8 years ago
How long have you given the medicine to work? How recently did you see the homoeopath? What instructions did he give you?

It is a lot of work and time to take a case for a homoeopathic prescription. While we can do that here, you would need to remove yourself from the care of the other homoeopath.

You would also need to give a complete case history here, and discuss many details of your life and feelings, which may be somewhat private.

A problem that has existed for 10 years may take some time to heal, and there would be improvements seen on the inside first (mental/emotional).

At an early stage when it appeared I visited an Allopathy doc...he gave me some oral pill and ointment to take...and itching was gone...after almost a year it came back...and the same case again.
Then I continue taking Allopathic medicine..which only gave me temporary relief.
I visited to Homeopathy doctor recently(about 6 mnth ago)..he told me that dabbing eczema has developed my SINUS problem (HOW ??? )and in order to remove eczema I have to get rid of sinus first.
He then suggested me to stop applying any ointment at affected area and prescribed some medicine for both sinus and itching.
I followed him blindly and took that med(i don't know the names)for almost 6 mnths...but the situation has not improved much. Then I stopped visiting him and got to know that PETROLEUM30 helps in chronic eczema.
I started taking it recently(5 days ago).I wanted to know if it is ever possible to remove eczema completely ???

Pls prescribe me proper medicine.I am really helpless.

Yes eczema can be cured, but we do not have 'eczema medicines'. Every medicine chosen needs to be done on an individualised basis.

GUIDELINES FOR GIVING HOMOEOPATHIC CASE INFORMATION

It is important to describe all your problems in as much detail as you are able. One word answers and short sentences are not particularly helpful. Discuss each problem one at a time, providing (as a minimum level of detail) the following information.

1. What exactly happens?
2. Describe all sensations and pains. Each pain or sensation should be described in such a way that allows us to imagine having the same pain.
3. What causes the problem to get worse after it has started occurring?
4. What creates some relief for the problem?
5. What triggers the problem into occuring?
6. What time of the day or night does the problem occur?
7. When did the problem start? What was happening in your life at that time? Did some specific event or treatment take place just before the problem started?

Move from one problem to the next, doing the same thing. IT IS VITAL THAT YOU GIVE A COMPLETE PICTURE OF YOUR HEALTH BY PROVIDING ALL PROBLEMS YOU HAVE, EVEN IF NOT CONNECTED TO THE MAIN ONE, AND EVEN IF YOU CONSIDER IT OF LESS IMPORTANCE.

You should address each problem separately using the above 7 questions as a guide. Do not put all your complaints into each of the 7 questions. Discuss one problem at a time. If you have, for example, a headache with nausea, do each component separately too (what makes the head pain worse or better, what makes the nausea worse or better).

As well as this, please describe any traumatic incidents that have taken place in your life. Discuss anything that has had a lasting impact on you mentally, emotionally or physically.

Discuss the way that you manage or deal with your problems, or any problems that occur in your life.

Discuss any patterns you have noticed in your behavior especially concerning your disease.

Discuss any part of your life where you feel stuck or unable to change and grow, especially where this occurred around the beginning of your disease, or as the disease evolved.

Describe your childhood and the kind of environment you grew up in, with reference to your relationships with your family, your school experiences, and any serious childhood diseases.

If your earlier discussions have not mentioned these already, please describe:

1. The specific foods that you crave (not just like) or hate
2. The specific drinks that you crave or hate
3. What your sleep is like
4. How the weather and the temperature affects you
5. What kinds of things in the environment you are particularly sensitive to
6. What your general level of energy is like
7. What your level of sexual energy or desire is like
8. Describe your menstrual cycle

9. Also give these details

a) Body type and build
b) Skin colour and texture
c) Areas of the body tends to perspire on
d) Odour of sweat, body, stool, flatus, urine
e) Colour of stool, urine, sweat

10. Give any reactions to vaccines or medical drugs.

How much PETROLEUM 30 have you taken so far?

nawazkhan 8 years ago
I have started taking PETROLEUM 30 from 1st Nov 2011

Now the bottle has finished and I am taking SULPHUR 30 now as I have heard these two are effective on Chronic Eczema.

Sir please help me with proper medication .

shamikbis9 7 years ago
Hi,

Please never self-prescribe as these remedies are very powerful that have serious side effects.

You must stop all remedies immediately.

Please take Mezereum 30C, 4 drops in 1/4 cup of mineral water, 3 times a day, for 1 week.

Many prayers for you.

Regards
Nawaz
