Body Odor/Emotional issues Page 2 of 3

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I have to ask this question too, what is this about respect? You put the word in capitals all the time - I assume then it must be particuarly important to you.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
It is important to me due to the fact that I never get it.

I know you have to earn respect but I get no consideration or common courtesy due to my odor.

Peoples opinions get around an organization so fast. So of course then all the lines are crossed. If its not my odor, its my hair, or my looks or how I do my job, the clothes I wear or how I wear them..etc, etc..etc.

My work environment is always sabotaged where ever I have worked. It seems like the whole world is condemning or laughing at me. The heavy workplace atmosphere gets to me making my odor, anxiety and depression worse.

There has to be an answer for me. A CURE! Is a cure possible Dr David?

I am sorry my internet went down last night and it was still down when I got up this morning. I am currently in meetings all day, so I am sending this from my phone. It will be a good 7 hours or so before I can get access back to this.

However, I notice a few new details here, so if you don't mind I might ask about them.

Can you describe more on :

Difficulty letting go

Have no willpower

Controlled by others

Doormat/Coward

Actually that second last post added loads more information.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Can you describe more on?

All of these symptoms go hand in hand to me, Dr David.

Difficulty letting go?

I mull over and over again negative things said or done to me. My mothers verbal abuse
and resentment of me. Not respecting me.
Strangers, co workers, bosses verbal abuse and resentment of me. Not respecting me. Its hard and it builds up.

Have no willpower?

A.I don't know how many times I have told myself that I am going to lose weight then just go buy a double cheeseburger as comfort food when things get stressful.
I am very absent minded-Day dreamer personality
My mind has to struggle to keep it in presence

B. Allowing people to talk to me in any manner they want to after telling myself, ' you have to stand up for yourself'. Just to go back into that same destructive behavior.

Controlled by others.

Allowing myself to be spoken to in a manner that makes me feel frightened, ashamed, less-than, or like I'm a child. IE: Lets say I'm at work and someone, a co- worker, who has no authority to tell me what to do, job related, says to do this and this or this. I would do it no questions asked, no confrontation.

Doormat/Coward

I am constantly pushed around. I submit to all abuse or indignities without protest. Its pathetic.

I feel if I did not have this strong, offensive, body odor, I would be more assertive. Because most of the indignities stem from my urine, offensive body odor.

Ok there are a couple of directions we could go. Let me start this way.

Can you get hold of the remedy Folliculinum 200. When you get it I will give you instructions on how to use it.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
I will. I plan on buying in Pellet form also. Thank you Dr Dan

INSTRUCTONS FOR SPLIT DOSING

Firstly, you need to create a separate dosing bottle. Get a bottle with a dropper, 15-30mls in size, and fill it with a mixture of water and alcohol (5 parts to 1 part). Dissolve 2 granules or 2 drops of the medicine you bought from the pharmacy into this mixture. Your doses will be made from this bottle.

Start with 1/4 cup of water. Only take one dose to begin with until we assess your response to it.

Hit the bottle firmly against the palm of your hand, or another elastic surface like a book. It should be a firm hit not a tap. 2 hits is enough to begin with, and should not be increased unless it is clear that it is needed. The water in this bottle will 'remember' the number of times you have hit it, so that subsequent doses will be stronger (necessary to overcoming the resistance of your disease).

Place 1 drop into an amount of water - I may start with anything from 1/4-1 full cup (62ml-250ml) depending on the sensitivity of the patient. Stir thoroughly and take 1 teaspoon into the mouth. Throw the rest of the cup away.

This is one dose. Repeat doses would be started from the 2 hits on the bottle.

Each step of this process can be adjusted to reduced aggravation or to increase the effect of the medicine. In order to be able to do this, it is important to measure each step (count the hits, the drops, measure the water etc).

Drinking alochol or rubbing alcohol ?

Any spirit is fine - I use Vodka or Brandy typically, but if you use medicinal it should be Ethanol alcohol.

OK!! My Folliculinum 200c has arrived Dr David. Please can you give me specific, simple, instructions on when to use this remedy. And what I should expect and when should I expect results because my main issue is the body odor symptom. TIA.

I will follow up with other questions?

Place 1 drop into an amount of water - stay with whatever you were using previously.

Use 1/2 cup (125mls) of water, and take the remedy once only to begin with. We will assess the reaction after about a week.

How do you get the pellets to dissolve? They don't.

sonjaxfactor last decade
Did you buy pillules or tablets? Tablets are a waste of money unfortunately. Pillules are made of sugar and dissolve easily.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
I'm sorry. They took awhile to dissolve, but eventually they did.

First! I started the remedy Folliculinum 200c Friday. My menses started Wednesday. Really, really heavy over the weekend. Very irritable and tired. Slight headaches which is not unusual for me. I slept all weekend. That's not unusual for me.

Dr Dave? Since I am new to homeopathic remedies. I have several general questions for you regarding them.

1)How does a remedy work in curing a problem? IE: Body odor issue.

2)Can you mix remedies?

3)Why should a person, take one dose for a certain amount of time, then wait?

4) How long should you wait before starting a new remedy?

5)Why wouldn't a remedy work if you match all the symptom?

1. That is a very complex question. The most simple answer is by the Law of Similars - what a remedy can cause it can also cure. This is a well established law of nature in homoeopathic prescribing.

The remedy directly affects the vital energy, which is the control system for the body. By correcting the imbalance there, it will allow the body itself to cure its own symptoms.

2. You can but you should not. One of our most basic principles is the Law of the Single Remedy. One remedy at a time, with proper assessment done of the effect before moving on to a new remedy.

3. Our medicines can continue to work for weeks, months or even years after they are taken. Thus you must wait before redosing to see how long your particular dose will affect you.

Taking another dose too soon can undo the first dose's effect, cause an aggravation of your symptoms, or create new symptoms (side effects).

4. A new remedy is started when it is clear the previous remedy is not helping, or the symptoms have radically changed and no longer fit the first prescription. How long would depend on the reaction to the first remedy.

5. This question I don't understand. A remedy certainly would work if you matched all the symptoms. However it is unlikely you can ever do that, since the symptoms that need to be matched are only the peculiar ones or the ones high up in the hierarchy of symptoms, not the common ones. Thus few remedies would ever show all symptoms, since it is not necessary to cure, nor have all our remedies been fully documented in such a way.

No negative effects or aggravations, but body odor still there.

Normally I do an assessment 1-3 weeks after the dose.

Aggravation is most likely to happen within 3 days. The aggravation will usually peak about 3-5 days. After 7 days the aggravation usually diminishes enough to begin to see improvements. After 14 days the change should be stable enough to see exactly how useful the remedy has been.

Not everyone goes exactly according to this schedule, although in my experience as a clinician it is quite common.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Is this why C-potencies are not to be repeated in short intervals?

sonjaxfactor last decade
Its been a week, Dr David. No negative reactions, Still smell though, that is causing depression.
