Hypertension
Greetings - I have been prescribed Metroprolol for hypertension. I have not taken my first dose... I'm rather shy to take daily prescriptions, but my bp is very high (always over 140 systolic, both arms). SO, I have been surfing around and find a lot of information about success treating hypertension (and other related symptoms) using high daily doses of CoenzymeQ10.Does anyone have any experience of success or otherwise using CoQ10 or any other nutritive or medicinal supplement/herb?
I should mention that I'm 31, female, and had surgery in 1995 on my L kidney for a ureter obstrucion that caused 6 years of kidney backup and distention.
Any help on the hypertension matter would be great.
Thank you,
Anna

The homeopathic treatment in constitutional for blood pressure. So, maybe its a good idea to find a good homeopath. There are some remedies that can help you to low the blood pressure like Viscum album, Veratrum viride, Allium sativum, Crataegus etc, but in your case I think that you have to see a doctor because of the problems with your kidneys.
