Worried...need advice..

Hello everyone, I have a 3 yr old son who got croup cough virus while in school. We decided to go with a sponge tosta treatment for it. We gave him a dose and he took really will to it, almost like in unbelief he got so much better. Seeing this stupid us we decided to give him a 2nd dose 5 hrs later as the treatment said 4 times a day within 24 hrs. We would just spread out the time interval to equal the 24 hr span. Well, on the 2nd dose he took a small bite and spat it out. 10 min later he began acting really strange and crying. Im so scared I hope we didn't mess him up. Are we ok..?? Is there a way to dilute it out of the system?? Thank you..

The way it works is -if you have a
positive reaction you stop. If you
were giving a low potency it is not
going to harm him, it will wear off.

I had an acute remedy kit from my
homeopath for my kids when they were little. So for colds , coughs etc I would
pick the best indicated and give a
dose to see if there was any reaction.
Then stop if there was a good reaction
and then not give another dose only if
they seemed to be relapsing. Sometimes it took a few doses to get
a good reaction, sometimes there
was no reaction and I had to pick
another remedy in the kit.I don't know
why they have things on the bottle
that say 4x in 24 hours- it is not
like giving antibiotics..

If spongia toasta is not the indicated remedy, the thing that may be happening may not have anything to do with Spongia. It may be a disease aggravation.
If it is aggravation due to the remedy, everything will be cleared in the course of time, if further dosing is not done.

Thanks guys for getting back. I feel better about it now. We probably wont be giving him any more doses as he is still doing well with the croupe cough. I guess some of us people lose patience and want results, like a microwave. Homeopathy is way different than reg medicine.

Homeopathy gives quick results, sometimes quicker than the traditional medicine. But the inter school rivalry in homeopathy has earned it a bad reputation.
