Migrane since 3 years _{Page 2 of 3}

Hi,

I was giving NUX 30c,Morning and Evening.sleep, constipation is bit improved with NUX Vom.( I am not sure due to Nux or not,but it is just an observation)

She has severe headache as well because of TN (But cannot relate to Migrane)

Below is the questionnare which answers the problems.

1. Describe your main suffering?

A. Suffering from Trigeominal Neurologia (Right Side)

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?

A. Sinus, Stools passing problem, suffered with Ataxia last year, Pain at right side of Face due to TN,during eating,brushing..

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

A. Do not get sleep until 3AM in the morning, Headache,drowziness

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?

A. High Electric shock is given at right side of face

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?

A. 3yrs back , I can connect with Sinus problem

6. Which time of the day you are worst?

A. It happens 4-5 times a day

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?

A. Not sure

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?

A. It is severe in Cold weather

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?

A. It is severe in Cold weather. But the pain is constant during all seasons.


10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.

A. Moody and Nervous

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?

A. Not necessarly

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?

A. Yes

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?

A. No

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?

A. They are supportive

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?

A. Sometimes weared dreams, i get fear and sometimes wakeup from sleep as well and some times shout during sleep.

12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?

A. I started keeping away from Cold items, like Curd(Yogart)

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?

A. Normal

14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?

A. Less

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?

A. None

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs?

A. More on face (Head)

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?

A. Facing a difficulty in passing stools.Its not regular, i pass once in 5-6 days.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?

A. Will not get sleep easily. Most of the times 3-4AM in morning.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?
A. No

20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all?
A. Not able to perform regular activities due to pain in head-face. Sometimes imbalance during walk at home.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?

A. I am using Carmabazapine 300MG since last 3 yrs. Curretnly started Mag-Phos 3 weeks back along with that.

22. What major diseases are running in your family?

A. Husband is suffering with Diabeties

23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance
A. Mid age old lady, looking at face seems like suffering with lot of pain,drowzy


24) Since when does she suffers from sinusitis? Can you connect this sinus problem to any factor?

A. She is suffering with sinusitis since last 15yrs. It arises in winter season.

25) Since when does she have constipation(stool passing problem). Could you connect this to any other factor?

A. She is having this problem since 3-4 yrs. Not sure due to which factor this effects.

26) Other details about her or if there are any peculiar things going on in her physical or emotional plane?

A. - Emotionally she is effected due to some family troubles.
- Yes, If this problem arises more or she is feeling more pain (TN) then the left leg and left hand doesn't work properly.Some times she cant even walk also.
27) Can you describe about this ataxia she suffered last year?

A. Last year she was suffering with extreme headache and excessive vomitings (undescribable).
Later we admitted her into Hospital, there she has undergone MRI,CT Scan and related Test. And nothing much was found. Neurologist concluded this was Ataxia attack and they did some Neuro Tretement for the same.
One of the doctor pointed that as she was taking CARMABAZIPINE 300mg (For Trigeminal Neurologia) since 3 yr, the Vomitings could be the side effect of that.


28) Since when is she having this sleeplessness until 3 am? Could you connect this to any happening?

A. She is facing this issue since last 2 yrs. Could not relate to any factor on this.

1- Age with exact date of birth
A . 55 yrs ( 6-7-1957)

2- Weight
A . 68 kgs

3- Height
A . 5.5'

4- Explain all the things(food, wheather, noise, perfumes etc) in details that aggravate the problem. I need detailed answer for each.
A . Food - Very sensitive to all cold related food/drinks/fruits and catches cold immediately
Food Habits : she eats Roti in morning/evening, Rice in afternoon and a bit in evening
wheather - Sensitive to cold wheather and catches cold very soon if precautions are not taken
Noise - Doesn't like much noise, it irritates.
Perfumes - Doesn't effect much

5- Explain emotions & her reactions to anger, fear, nervousness etc. in detail.
A. - Very Emotional in nature
- Anger - Gets angry at times but its Normal
- Fear - Have lot of fear when alone at home.
- Suddenly wakes up from sleep due to weared dreams at times
- Nevouness - As Normal with other persons

6- Explain her relationship & behaviour with your father & her children? (e.g caring, irritating, apathy, loving etc).
A. Relations with everybody is Normal. Bit Diplomatic as she dont want to heart anybody
She is quiet caring as well.
Just want to share - She does not do any work, i mean all work is done by mates, watches TV in evening time for hour or two.

7- What is the colour of secretions from nose & how she feels about secretions?
A. Color is while and yellow some times. she feels relaxed the secretion

8- Explain her sinus problem in detail. atleast one paragraph mentioning all the past history,
colour of discharge from nose, sneezing pattern, what relieves the problem, any irritation in eyes,
any seasonal allergies etc.
Any type of pains(other than TN) or secretions from ears/nose. Simply Yes/No answers are mostly useless so please try to post details.

A. She has Sinus problem since long years 20yrs, but it was diagnosed when she was
suffering with Mild headache and became uncaunsious 12 yrs back. She was admitted to Hospital
and was given Glucose/Ingections to clear the Fluid which was jamed in her Nose-Forehead-and
got spreaded in other areas of head.
From then Lemon/curd/Sitaphal are like poison to her, if she tries a little but then she is gone.
Now she is away of all these and taking much care.
She sneezes normally, but the head is heavy when suffering with cold. Lot of white secretion
from nose during cold, with mild headache.
She has poor hearing with right ear - cannot relate this with TN or what
She has constipation problem since 4 yrs, she passes stools once in 5-6 days

Dear Asad,
My Mother is feeling much better now.

Changes after 1 week of dosage:

1. TN Pain is almost controlled (No pain in the Face/Head)

2. Constipation once in 4 days.

3. Sleep, Bit improved (Cannot judge properly on this due to change in sleep timings due to Ramadan)

Please let me know shall i continue with same Presciprtion or would you like to change it.

To answer you question, No she doesn't cry on minor things.

One observation based on the question you asked, her face is swollen these days. Not sure is it a good/bad sign. But there is no Pain.

Dear Asad,

My Mother has followed the prescription for one more week.
Overall everything is going on well.

Constipation as said earlier one in 3-4days.Rest all is well.

* One clarification regarding my case(Migraine,Right side headache) : When i go to Mosque, people use strong Itr/Perfumes and i feel uncomfortable smelling that and i get fear of Headache again as well. How should i manage that situation, where in i am in a Itr/Perfume polluted environment and still can manage my headache.

Any how you have given the Remedies earlier,Please advice the dosage and duration.

Shall i stop the earlier remedies which she was using since 2 weeks?

I am feeling much better now.
If there is less sleep (less than 6-7hrs) headache is coming back again.

Not getting headache due to Perfumes, its only that i feel uncomfortable smelling that and fear of headache.

Dear ASAD,
I have given one single dose of Medorrhinum 1M.

Changes after 1 week:

Overall health is good.Constipation improved(once in 2 days).No Sinus problem

But
* Trigeminal Neuro pain came back. Experienced the earlier pain has come back.
Got pain on 3rd day and 8th day after dose and there after the same pain.

Generally eyes were acking after the dose.

Please advice. Awaiting.
