Hi im 19 ive had bells pallsey on the right side of my face for the last 6 weeks. from the 4th june 2012. I had it once 4years ago on the same side. iv so far had 6 acupunctre sessions and nthing has happend. my eye can close slightly.(before it couldnt even blink) my smiles not what you call a smile. my nose doesnt screw up like the other side does. my right side of lip doesnt move.its frustrating! i donbt look so bad if i just keep a straight face .BUT when i start talking you can tell. is there anything that can help speed the recovery,?? I had it for almost 3 months last time i got bells.

Bells palsey in the right side of face. eye, nose , cheek , mouth , eyebrows cannot move

14. Tongue and Taste .My tounge on the right side was numb for the first 3weeks but has since gone.

16. What exactly is happening? my right side cant move , upper lip doesnt move, right eye cant close properly, nor blink properly. cheek doesnt move ( only a twitch) .

19. How does it feel like? it doesnt feel numb anymore. just cant move.

Current and previous remedies/medicines you are taking - i have taken herbal remedies from my acupuncturist . they are used for circulating blood. hasnt done anything so i have stopped.

32. Aggravation- yes. i cannot smile. eat properly or blink properly & also my right cant close when i screw my face up.

I was also given steriods the day i got bells. i took them until they were gone ( two weeks worth ) they did nothing.

Im not to sure on what u mean ... i feel angry, upset and annoyed. im normally a lively person but since 6 weeks ago i cannot smile laugh or talk without someone noticing tht somethings not right.. realy frustrating.im angry majority of the time now because with my face like this i no longer want to go out .

Its also irritating becausemy eye only slightly closes and half the time not at all . i can say i no longer need to wear an eyepatch.
