asthma 6 yr old
My son 6 yr old has been diagnosed of asthma.He uses asthalin and seroflo if the attack is bad.His cough never seems to go ,even if he is out of a bad attack he keeps on coghing on and off something like 2-3 times in a day.A typical attack could come from a common cold or sometimes by having an excess of cold things like ice creams and cold drinks,since i am living in india the difficult months for him are mar-apr and again sep-nov .He generally has dry cough which does not seem to stop he would cough every 10 min and if this goes on during the day then he might start to wheeze at night,its really scary to see him suffering like this.He sometimes also wakes up in the middle of the night coughing and at that timme he needs to be given asthalin or else the cough will not subside.During the bout of cough he sometimes complains that it feels as if something is stuck in his throat.If somebody could help me relieve him of his symptoms ,he really gets hassled by this spasmodic coughwhich does not seem to stop ,i have tried homeopathy but when i dont see the results say in an hrs time i start panicking:His general characteristics would be
Physically he is tall ,slim,fair complexioned with dark deep blue lines under his eyes.
is very short tempered,argues a lot.
is more attached to the mother,very sensitive cannot bear the thoight of me not speaking to him.
Apologises quickly for his mistakes,very talkative
extremly restless,wants to do something or the other all the time.loves outdoor activities.shakes his legs before going of to sleep.has an excellent memory good in academics avoids written work would possibly do things orally.I dont know what else to do cause i hate to give my child steroids and feel restless to see him suffering like this .Please help.

A number of things show up here .
Nat mur .. is he better or worse near the sea, does he like or dislike salt .
Pulsatilla , dose he get hot at night and dislike wearing wollen garments and eating rich foods.
Sulphur .. does he put feet out of bed to cool off at night, also have a bowl motion soon after waking.
Does he have a heart shaped face , long eyelashes fine skin and love to travel.
Has he any red/auburn hair , assume he likes cold drinks, does he also like to be rubbed/massaged.

cant say that because where i am stayin in india there is no sea around,he does enjaoy salty things but he also hae a major sweet tooth.He likes to eat something sweet after his meals.he does sweat at night,but has never showed a dislike for wollen clothes.when need arises he does wear but yes he does sweat a lot specially on his head.he has a longlish face,long eyelashes and yes likes to travel.he has brownish hair and likes to have cold things and likes to be massaged.

he does enjoy eating rich foods and also i wuld like to mention that he likes to keep himself covered at night and passes motion only after coming back from school .

I have treated many cases of Asthma successfully in adults but not in children. However since I presume that you have consulted many physicians for his asthma with perhaps not much success, you may like to use this simple therapy for your son which I feel can help him to overcome his problem, perhaps permanently after you have treated him for a few weeks.
The remedy that I recommend you use is Nat Sulph 6c which must be used precisely in the manner indicated below:
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from your nearest supermarket.
Pour out 100ml
Drop in 3 pellets or 1 drop of liquid Nat Sulph 6c into the 400ml water
Cap the bottle tightly and succuss it 4-6 times by banging on your palm and look out for the air bubbles to fizzle up from the bottom.
Pour out 1 teaspoonful of the potentized remedy into half a cup of water and stir it gently.
Give him just 1 teaspoonful of the water from the cup once daily.
Store the bottle in the refrigerator.
You must stop all other medication if you decide to use this remedy which should be taken daily for a week and then every other day. You may like to know that I have many instances of adults who were chronic sufferers from Asthma for many years who do not use the remedy any more after about 4 months on this therapy. Others who were not so chronic react favourably in a few weeks and only use the remedy if and when necessary.
A remedy that I have used for adults when they are gasping for breath is Ars Alb 200c. This remedy is taken dry and just 3 globules will suffice for a dose which may only be given just once a day. This usually clears the lungs and opens up the airways in under 20 minutes and is the homeopathic equivalent of nebulization.
You can also use steam from an open electric kettle on the boil with the lid open which your son can inhale twice daily for a few minutes. This will help his lungs to expel the mucous which I believe is the reason for his cough.
You will have to ensure that he does not catch frequent colds and a remedy that you can use to arrest an oncoming is Ferr Phos 30x (Biochemic salt). Dose is 2 tablets taken 3 times daily. It is important that he takes this remedy as soon as he feels that he is catching a cold.
I would appreciate if you will post his response to this therapy on this forum, if you decide to use it.

thanks joe but could you help me with his spasmodic cough right now.he is coughing every 15-20 min. and his throat also seems to pain .

I believe that his cough is due to the phlegm in his lungs being expelled by the coughing which is a natural reflex and should not be stopped.
I advised you to use steam from an open electric kettle or jug and I hope you take my advice literally as this should help to soften the phlegm and his coughing will expell it.
Start him on the Nat Sulph 6c therapy and I am confident that you will be able to help him soon.
Do not get disheartened as your boy has obviously been suffering from his Asthma for many years and it may take a few weeks from now on for him to react favourable.

ist day 3 doses.morning,noon,night.
second day.two doses.morning and night.
third day.only one dose in the morning.
a dose is 5 drops mixed in a little water.
after three days alternate thrice daily ars 6c,blatta orientalis 6c,half an hour apart.I hope it will help your child .Asthma is difficult to cure difficult in the sense that it takes time may be a year but is curable.

Have you ever tried over the counter homeoapthy for asthma?
From the research that I have done on the internet, it looks like companies who make over the counter remedies know what works for a vast number of the population.
Might want to consider looking through the internet for over the counter remedies for asthma which also contain Nat Sulph. Here's one for your convenience.

I found a thread where someone took Nat Sulph and was cured of asthma in less than three months. He didn't take anything else but Nat Sulph
I don't understand why you trust someone on the internet with your child's lungs who has no history here of helping anyone with any of their ailments successfully. Magiccure seems to want people to think he is an asthma specialist for children. Why doesn't he/she spend time at this website helping others with other health concersn besides little kids' lungs. Why is he/she targeting little kids lungs?
This large corporations who make millions on over the counter combination remedies know A LOT MORE THAN magiccure.
Do some research don't put your child's care totally in one person's hands.
I hope that you at least consider trying the Nat Sulph or see a homeopath in real life.
