Want to quit smoking....

I am planning on quitting smoking. I have plenty of failed attempts behind me and was wondering if there are any homeopathic remedies I could use?

Any suggestions

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I have used Arnica 30c in the Split Dose to help a person stop smoking. He is now completely off cigarettes of which he was smoking a pack daily.

I shall detail the method of making the Split Dose below:

Get a 500 ml bottle of Spring Water.
Pour out 100 ml
Put in just 1 drop or 3 globules of Arnica 30c into the water and screw the cap on.
Bang the bottle 4 times on your palm or a cushion and watch for the bubbles that rise up with each bang. This is called succussion and renders the water to be slightly higher in potency and makes the remedy more effective.
Sip just 1 teaspoonful of the potentized water twice daily. Remember to succuss the bottle before every dose.

You must also make a positive effort to avoid smoking which is more mental than otherwise.

Report results in a week when your craving for a smoke should have diminished even slightly. If otherwise I'm afraid that Arnica is not your remedy.

You will observe that if you take the last dose just before sleep, you will enjoy a very deep sleep which is invariably reported by those who use Arnica to be very refreshing.

It is possible that this deep sleep helps to lessen the craving for that smoke and if you conquer it by making up your mind which will be helped by the Arnica, you should be able to stop smoking completely.

I used the Bach Flower Remedy Centary to help me quit smoking - just took 4 drops whenever I got a craving.

But ultimately I stopped because I really didnt want to smoke anymore - I would remind myself whenever I fancied a smoke about how awful it would make me smell, my hair, my clothes, my breath. Also thinking about how dreadful I felt in the morning with coughing and sore chest. And I thought about the crap I was putting into my body - it is poison, I felt it was poisoning every single cell in my body.

And I have now been 'clean' for 10 months and I feel so much better its amazing!!

Good luck - I hope you stick with it, you really will feel the benefits! Keep posting too!

Arnica Montana is the remedy that I meant. I notice that the Radix which is the root is also offered by ABC but this is not listed in any of the Materia Medicas.

Can a bottle of Mineral water do instead of spring water?

Mineral water which contains chemicals in a relatively high concentration is not recommended as the chances of the remedy being antidoted is high.

You may use well water which is not chlorinated after boiling or preferably the water that is sold in supermarkets which is not chlorinated. Read the fine print to check if it is drawn from deep bore wells when it is known as Spring Water.
