Are you thinking that Drosera may help long term??
I know Tub cannot be repeated often and he did have the doses quite close and on the 200c he aggravated so so much the homeopath had to interfere so i would be very worried about 1M i would never give this without you advising so do not worry about that.
So to be more clear even though one dose of drosera 30c helped i can still give it every 5 - 10 minutes?? will it cause more aggravation.
The last time from the one dose it took 24 hours for the aggravation to stop and he started getting better.
I will say he is still having running nose in the morming and when running around he will cough a little.
I will order the 200c for the future as i do understand the 30c will not work forever but what about shaking the water with the 30c in it does this strengthen it?
I will ask before doing anything though and will stick to 30c until you advise otherwise.

Hi Dr
There is a measles outbreak in my area i am very worried as my son has not had the vaccinations.
I am very anti vaccination but this has scared me into thinking about just a measles jab.
My eldest had this and also got quite ill from the jab.
If my son has the jab would he be able to have homeopathy afterwards or would this interfere with it working.
I am in a right panic and do not know what to do. i know you cannot tell me what to do but if you can tell me how homeopathy can help with the measles or after effects of the jab i would be gratful

When I grew up we had all both rubella, measles, mumps, etc. No one died of it, of course it's unpleasant. but in fact these childhood diseases helps to enhance children imunesystem.
That said there's homeoapt medications that can help with such diseases. Alleviate and shorten the disease course
Two important drugs, in early stage, Belladonna and Aconite. 30C. Sudden high fever with a red face: Bella Donna.
Is it due to cold weather, been out playing in the cold wind: Aconitum.
Rhus tox: stiffness ALL OVER BODY especially joints. Better from heat. Hot showers, warm bed.Red, swollen; ITCHING INTENSE. Hot water ameliorates.
Sulphur: Throwing off the covers, feeling warm. Better from cold, cold showers, cold packs. Rash that itches terribly.
Bryonia: Irritable, wants to be left alone, aggravated by any interference from any person.
VERY THIRSTY FOR LARGE quantities FREQUENTLY.
Worse from motion, even the slightest. Better from rest. Children dislike to be carried or raised.
Do not think you should worry so extreme. Of course one should take this seriously, but I think it is more worse for the mother than the child. Also common antipyretic and analgesic remedies are good to have on hand.
You can also give your son Echinacea in those days. So his imunesystems is prepared.

Illness is a major fear of mine and i am now obsessed with thinking about measles and deciding what to do.
Because of illnesses going straight to his chest in the past i am obviously worried about this and if i get him vaccinated i worry about this too.
I am a worrier and always have been and this is just a horrible situation to be in. i do not know anyone thats had measles apart from my Son after the vaccine, this was mild and he was still very poorly.
If he has the vaccine and gets side effects or gets ill like my son do we kust leave it to run it's course or would you priscribe something?
I wish i was like you and more relaxed about this as i know what your saying is very true but it's the scary thought of what if he got it real bad!

I was wondering about biochemic salts as Asad is going to be treating me!
i just read about a woman being cured from asthma and she had reocurring colds.
Have you used this method before (i know nothing about it)
My Son is sniffly today and i do hope thats all it is and i will wait to see what happens before giving Drosera. but sure he is getting a cold. which could mean croup.
I find this so depressing and don't think i deal with illness well. i panic and worry far too much!

My son has a full on cold since waking this morning so seems dros isn't helping long term, shall I go ahead and treat with one 30c dros or how would you give the remedy ?

If it is not life-threatening disease should be allowed to run its course. It is not good to stop colds, neither with homeopathy or allopathy. The organism needs to be allowed to defend themselves. This is how imunesystems being built up, so that he can have resistance when he gets older.

I totally understand this Dr and if it was just a cold I would not be worried but the croup gets bad and asthma has never cleared on its own without help and usually gets one or the other with cold which is why I like to stop cold all together,
The last asthma he had was January and was by far the worst and had to have several doses of oral steroids,
He has been great up until the cold a few weeks ago and now the weather had turned he now has another, last winter was the same literally another cold would start before the last has even cleared up and like I say the asthma and croup are what I want to stop.
No long term remedy has ever worked for either of my boys and I would have no faith in homeopathy if it wasn't for the numerous times an acute remedy has saved them from antibiotics and steroids etc
I get so low when I know I do what I can to keep my kids healthy, I buy good vitamins they don't eat much junk food, lots of vegetables and fruit.
I have air filters in there rooms and kept dust to a minimum and change there beds often there also dairy free and minimum wheat.
I would love for a long term remedy for the winter months.
My son starts nursery soon and thinking about leaving it as such a bad time for him catching colds etc
I hope you understand my concern it's never just a cold with him.

I just wanted to add something, my eldest son is almost 7 and had never ever suffered coughs, asthma or croup until I moved to the house I'm at now, I out it down to building work causing dust and my husband use to smoke outside the house and would still smell when he came in.
He suffered croup, asthma and recurrent coughs all winter the same as youngest I first posted about in this thread
He hasnt smoked for a year now and building work finished about 18 months ago.
Both now are coughing in the night since the weather has changed and it's getting worse!
These coughs become very draining on us all and the only way they stop with the eldest is a raging fever and youngest, last yr was asthma
Someone said to me it's the area we live in, we live in the country but we're very low down and a lot of hills around us. It's so say a lot damper around here.
We live near a canal, the river Severn and lots of ponds.
Do you think this could be the case of just the cold weather? But like I said eldest never suffered until he was 4 and moved here.
I am so dreading this winter again , I Know to some people it's just coughs but it isn't , it's asthma, croup and raging fevers every couple of weeks (going by last winter)

By the way I have not treated the you youngest with dros as wanted to see what happened but starting to cough now and asthma nurse wants him back on steroid inhaler for the winter,
