I have been taking thyroxin 50 mcg for last 2 months. My blood report is normal but allopathic doctor advised thyroxin on clinical findings. Now i want to stop it. From this forum i selected these medicine
Thyroidinum 1M one time
Spongia 30 three times 2drop
Focus Q
Iodium 3X for 4 days starting with full moon
Thyroidinum 200 every week after one month
Now i want to know

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You cannot prescribe all this for yourself - you will have
bad results. And tuberculinum is NO way the same
as Thyroidinium.

You went to the Dr. for a reason. Then he saw the thyroid levels
were wrong. The Thyroid controls all kinds of things in
the body including heart rate, other hormones, testosterone
production , digestive issues, hair issues and on and on.

You have to give your case here and what was reason for
going to dr. in the first place. And all your symptoms.

Then the right mix of remedies, the right potency of remedies,
the right times to take remedies, and duration of time and
all of that will be monitored and done SAFELY.

Thanks for reply
My wife aged 34 years.
she went to Dr. for complain of minor swelling in hands and lower part of leg (not often) and feeling tired, weakness. Swelling occurs any times of day often in the morning and continues for 1-2 days. it repeats after 4-6 days (approx).
she is also overweight. her blood report of sugar (Fasting & Random), thyroid are well within the normal range. But doctor prescribe her thyroxin 50 mg on the basis that clinically he found hypothyrodism and stated that it will reduce her weight also. Now I want to stop the medicine as somebody stated that once started it cant not be stopped. So I want to stop the thyroxin and seek advice to counterbalance the side effect as she has taken it for 2 months regularly.
Pl. suggest me.

Hi-I think that is not true about stopping the Thyroxine.

See About.com-Thyroid Disease where some people just
quit taking it.They have their old symptoms return but
they don't care.

Of course getting correct treatment homeopathically on here
is much better than having to take that medication.
Someone on here will take up the case and give you the
right prescriptions and monitor the development of progress.
