Long Term Fever (2 Months)

Hi,

My Mom facing problem since 2 months. She has fever.

We got her admitted in manipal (Blore) for 2 weeks to diagnose the problem. My mom underwent all possible test she could, Doctors could not find any problem with her body nor reason behind the fever. Since there was no progress we got her discharged. Consulted a private doctor, she advised to get mom admitted in st Johns medical college hospital in blore. They took few test and found no problems. Finally out of assumption they gave TB tablets and antibiotics to continue for 2 months. since then her temp keeps fluctuating. Morning she has 99.8 and evening her temp is 100.6. She takes paracetamol for fever.

Test done so far:

Blood test
urine test
TB, HIV
Ultrsound, X ray, CT scan, MRI scan, Bone marrow, PET

she still has fever. How do we proceed in this case. Please advise.

Has she suffered from Dengue or Chikungunya within the past 5 years?

If so, it is very likely that it is the after effect of the virus which manifests itself in this manner and doctors are clueless as to the reason for the patient's symptoms as all other tests are normal.

I shall prescribe a remedy when you respond.

Thank you so much for your reply. Currently she is on english medicine (Antibiotics) prescribed by doctor. Will she have to stop taking english medicine and start with the medicines you prescribed or can she consume both homeopathy medicine and antibiotics together? please advice.

Hi Joe,

To answer your question, she never had dengue or chikungunya. This is the first time she is suffering from fever for a long time (2 months). Our family is totally shattered. My mom lost hope that it can be cured.
