upper right abdominal pain
Hi AllI am 40 years old and suffering since almost 4 years from upper right side abdominal pain (from end of breast bone move along right rib about 10cm and done a few cm down). When I press at that spot I feel a dull ache at times. After eating or drinking warm drink the pain goes away. Main issue is I wake up at night due to this.
When it started in 2008 I had burning in that spot incl. eczema on calves (legs). Initially prontozol helped for the burning/the eczema disappeared after a while. What now remains is a dull ache/cramping on that spot(area). Prontozol doesn't seem to remove this. Carbo veg (30) and nat phos d6 give mild relief however I still wake up at night approx. between 01:00 - 03:00 (depending when I ate my dinner). I ususally don't notice any pain during daytimes except when I sit and bend forwards.
Endoscopy/ultrascan have showed everything is fine (no ulcers, no helcobacteria,liver values are fine too).
I seem to have same problem as this person here http://abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/121708/
(Could this be a hital hernia?)
I am a soft friendly gentle person, good at communicating and work in a field which causes me some stress and anxiety as my dynamic/enthusiastic/friendly approach is less needed but more a analalytic/calm approach. A homeopath I once consulted suggested my constitutional type is phosphorous.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take three doses of Phosphorus 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).
day 1 morning
1st dose
day 1 evening
2nd dose
day 2 morning
3rd dose
One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.
Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

I didn't understand the meaning of 's for 4th day' (s = stop ?).

Question: Is it o.k. to take R5 in the meanwhile (as it helps midly for the stomach pain) while I wait for the effect of phosphorous 200?

After taking phosphorous in general I noticed I was more calm and relaxed and maybe indirectly I seem to have a benefited and problem is a bit more under control.
I am taking additionally Arg 30 2x a day and Ars Alb 30 before sleeping (as once advised by the homeopath - who unfortunately left and hence my requests in this forum). Especially the Ars Alb 30 seems to help a lot in getting good sleep and reducing the upper stomach irritation problem more than the Arg Nit.
Would this be the right course to take Phos 200 occasionally (e.g. monthly once) and Arg Nit 30 and Ars Alb 30 till complete cure is there?

Ars may be helping here as we have that modality in ars. Ars is worse by bending forward. You should take it on alternate days and later once every three days. This is how you should phase it out. No remedy should be taken daily.

I will do as you suggest and slowly phase out Ars and occassiaonlly use phosphorous 200.
Last question: Due to my nervosity/lack of confidence I (unfortunately) have a tendency to have the psychological need to take some kind of 'feel good' pills. Any idea what would suit me as a phosphorous constitutional type within tissue salts I could take on occassions I feel a bit stressed/can't concentrate in the office, which would not reverse the above homeopathic treatment?

You may take Cocculus 30 C when you are much stressed and see how that affects. There is no need to take it regularly.
