The ABC Homeopathy Forum

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
There is no ban on alcohol while on a remedy- many homeopaths feel that coffee, products with camphor,
strong odors like onion, garlic, etc may antidote a remedy
and prefer that you do not use these while taking
the medicine.
If you read about the remedy itself in the materia medica
and what antidotes it there are indications sometimes
for individual remedies- for instance Aconite ( it says
not to eat vinegar type things- pickles and so on.)
Of course alcohol is not good for you in the first place,
and if you are consuming a lot of it or more than
one glass it is not going to help anything. You have
to have a proper diet and some homeopaths along
with Chinese medicine practitioners do not want you
taking alcohol. icy drinks, fizzy drinks, ice cream etc
bc they feel it imbalances the body and creates mucous, etc.
You have to have a good diet to have health in the first place.
