Classical Homeopathy .. ? Page 2 of 2

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Is Suresh a doctor? A homeopathic doctor? Strange he says he doesn't know the Organon. And then suffers memory loss or recall (heaven knows with this person) and brings up the Organon immediately after!
Please, less of insinuations and vague whispering - do inform us on how the "judiciary showed the correct place of the so-called classical homeopaths by putting them on their fours, drooling and panting." Your turn of phrase itself shows a hostility towards 'classical' (but somehow not classical, the better to mock you, my dear!) homeopaths. If I had to guess, I would say 'dr. suresh' is a frustrated man, venting his ire at those who practice diligently, rather than conveniently.
"As I have said earlier, the so called classical homoeopathists are surviving only by prescribing these over the counter tonics etc; and if these companies were to be closed for making these tonics etc, and asked to make only Hahnemannian drugs, they (the manufacturer’s) will all close down in a month." Does this bit of nonsense make any sense to anyone?
Why should anyone bother to find "one ‘patriotic’ homoeopath from Kerala state to help you to get this well known person using Carcinocin for diagnostic oncology? Only one member from the state to represent at the highest level in homoeopathic board in this country? Alternatively you can hire the services of Holmes S." Put your money where your rather big mouth is and do your own work - unless you are making up a lot of your unconvincing examples, what prevents you from coming out with it?
So much balderdash. This is not a debate on the part of 'dr. suresh'. This is some kind of ego-stroking exercise in attacking God know exactly whom or what, from the safety of the anonymity the internet.
And so, 'dr.suresh', please do tell, the internet wasn't around at the time of Hahnemann either, so is prescribing over the net non-classical because it isn't mentioned in the Organon? Tools are different from principles - if you can understand that.

Only to your question What I understand by Classical homoeopathy?, I posted my reply ….. referring as per Organon etc. On my own I never raised this issue at all. About Organon I was not aware till you asked about it.
I am asking right from beginning: How many of us follow this method known as Classical homeopathy, devised and advocated by the founder of homeopathy – in his Organon of medicine".? You are asking the same again from me!! Why there is no one practicing as per this law and what is the reason?
As regards my question why India is the only country where Homoeopathic profession is headed by a non-qualified homoeopath—your answer is "entrepreneurship" acumen / work can be entrusted to. This is something very very interesting and informative!!!.
Why such “entrepreneur’s” are not appointed at the nursery school and other education organizations like, legal, allopathic medicine, chartered accountancy, space organizations etc? Similar “entrepreneurs” can be posted also as generals, the head of the armed forces in India. Even a true Karl Marx’s ideology follower would not profess this. The forum readers will very much understand about...
With my limited knowledge of Classical homoeopathy, I understand that India is the only country in the globe which has honored the homoeopathic profession, by posting a honorary homoeopathic physician to the head of the state, the president. True to your “entrepreneurship” Why don’t a non-qualified homoeopath be posted as homoeopathic physician to the constitutional head of the state?
It is strange and I am also happy that a Classical supporter of Classical homoeopathy like you saying that “the OTC patented homoeopathic atleast acts as a support to the patients”- this is true to the Organon. Do you know what will happen when a NOT indicated remedy is applied on the patient?

You have said that the “Red cross”, in relation to the patients understanding for an indication to a Doctor's clinic…etc. What you do not know Nesha-India is that Red Cross was THE only last indication for a Classical Homoeopath in India to show the people that they are also people who can give medicines.. The Govt of India, Ministry of Health, has directed and strictly warned against such a display (Red Cross). Why?

For your question on Use of one bottle of pill of 10 size………..
In this column, some persons though did not accuse me, but did not support my views and tried to sideline a person who was blindly arguing the case of classical homoeopathy. One such person has prescribed for a patient under “Genital warts…” a “This-for-That” to my question about this irrational prescription his reply is:
Details on web page: http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/33396/

This is the status of classical homoeopathy.
______________________________
This will give the answer and still your not convinced please read details on use of 10 size pill in Lesser writings by a person called S Hahnemann.
Your reply for “This-for-That”—is what else I am to expect from the patient's short and incomplete symptom description that they post here.
The condition of these pseudo-Classical prescribers is no better than what a noble physician once said:
“I Have been putting drugs of which I know little into bodies of which I know less; so I can but renounce the practice of medicine that may no longer incur the risk of injury” to my patients. Who is she/he?

A classical homoeopath true to his Organon and materia medica should NEVER venture in offering his advice to such improperly posted symptoms. When a prescriber does not know how to elicit the symptoms, by…. why should the prescribe at all. And it is known very well to all such prescriptions NEVER work. Thus befalling homoeopathy further. Kindly read what Kent says about handling such cases and the physicians.
As you do not accept homoeopathic teachings from India, I would like you to read and again read on the issue of treating patients with limited symptoms writings of Boenninghaussen and others.

I am asking is there no classical homoeopath in a large forum like this ? Why should they post wrong prescriptions?
Finally, please tell me and what is actually is classical prescription as understood by you?
I am keen to learn Dr. Suresh 21-9-05

Dear Readers,

Please refer to posting dated 21st. Sep 05. by my friend Suresh.
2. I did not enter into this debate earlier as it had already deviated from the spirit of the debate/ this forum, by that time. I felt that it had reached the point of no-return. Today I have been drawn into it due to some wrong impression that has been, unfortunately, created in the minds of the readers about me and I want to put the records straight. After this and my views on the subject of this debate, I will like to have keep off this topic.
3. Suresh has stated that I had been an advocate of Classical homeopathy but later I myself prescribed in a non-classical manner in thread no.33396 of abchomeopathy, pertaining to genital warts. He has also said that I side-lined a staunch supporter of Classical homeopathy.Whether I go by the actual meaning of the word side-lined or the meaning that obviously he has in mind, both ways,I deny. I request him, most humbly, to see my relevent postings again. I have never, any where on the forum, advocated Classical homeopathy, under all circumstances.
4. Now in case the readers are anxious to know whether I prefer a Classical method( i.e. strictly as per Organon) or not, my answer is that I try to remain close to Organon to the extent it is possible under the circumstances. I do not deviate from it just for my convenience. For example, I do not suggest more than one remedy at a time unless there is no time to wait for the result from the first medicine. After all, we all know, that inspite of our best intentions and exercise, the chosen remedy sometimes does not work. So the situation dictates the necessity of deviation.
5. What I have noticed in my long association with homeopathy in India, where I lived till a few years ago, is that the ordinary homeopaths, prescribe some times upto 4 medicines at a time due to one of the following reasons, as is obvious :-
(a) The time to select a single medicine, which will require a deep study of the case, when so many patients are to be attended to, is just not available. In India most of the people, being not financially well off, go to the ordinary homeopaths who charge nothing or very little as fees and the medicines are very cheap as compared to allopathic medicines and no prior appointment is necessary. It, therefore, draws a large number of patients.
(b) At places where there are not a large number of patients, if the doctor starts with one medicine at a time and the very first medicine is a mis-fire, the patient may go to another doctor. If the socond doctor happens to give, by chance, the medicine that the first doctor had planned to give in case the first misfired and the patient gets relief, the patient will lose faith in the first doctor, may also tell people around him and the first doctor will lose a client and money, both. I forgot to mention that where a doctor makes the consulation free, he makes some profit on the cost of the medicine.
6. Somebody in one of the postings has mentioned that the famous English homeopath, Dr. J. Henry Clarke, gave more than one medicine at a time when his lady wife was seriouly ill. He is right. Who will let his wife die waiting for the result from the first medicine? Hence urgency will decide whether to give more than one at a time, even if the prescriber does not belong to the category in para 5 above.

I'm sure some of you are enjoying this debate, but it would be better for everyone if we can avoid getting personal.

Claws in please folks.

Just to re-iterate the forum rules:

Keep your posts civil, courteous and calm. If you disagree with other posts, target your disagreement at the content of the post, rather than the person that posted it. Be nice.

Dr. Suresh, We are missing you. Where are you?

Practicing homeopathy without reading Organon? You probably don't know what you are missing.

It tells you how to choose a medicine, how to administer it, and how to repeat it. It also tells you how to go about in case your chosen medicine doesn't work.

It is the most comprehensive guide to practice homeopathy.

May be the few successful doctors, who are fortunate enough to get good results, without reading Organon, may find that, they are following Organon in true spirit, if not in letter.

Come on guys..

Do yourself a favour. Read Organon, and then discuss. You won't regret it.

Murthy
