low sperm count

I have sperm count of 8 mm/ml. ultra sound relied a mild Vericocele in both scortoms. Allopathic doctor advised my Evon 400 mg (vit E capsules) and a food supplement ‘Proxeed’ (mainly consist of L-carnitine (amino acid).
After three months of dosage, sperm volume increased 3 times but sperm count and motility remained same (motility etc are in normal ranges). After searching about L-carnitine on net I found that it effects in increasing sperm fluids … not much effective on sperm count.
Doctor is advising for vericocele operation but .. on research … this is not a definite cure…
My question from forum is “how really effective Homeopathic is in curing the low sperm count problem”. Are there any real success stories …. What medicen can be advised in my case.
(I am a quite healthy person overall, am a journalist.

Please advise ..
Thx . AMOUR from NIGERIA
