Please help!!! Premature baby (now 7.5 months old) with GERDMy son was born prematurely at 30 weeks and have stayed at the NICU for 67 days. He was born 3 pounds and weights about 17-18 pounds at 7.5 months old now. He was exclusively on breast milk via bottle for the first 4 months, then due to multiple mastitis from pumping, we ended the pumping at 5 months. He started on Zantac at around 3.5 months old due to fussiness and arching his back during feeding time.
We first introduced him to the regular enfamil formula but he started having bloody stool. After that we have tried several formula including soy and organic lactose free formula which would either gave him the rash or loose stool. Finally, we found the Alimentum ready to feed last December, and all the symptoms disappeared except the acid reflux.
Also, in the month of December, the doctor switched him to Prevacid 3ml due to extreme fussiness, arching his back, crying, and refuse to drink milk. It seems to work in the beginning, but now the doctor increased his dosage to 5ml since he started fussing again during milk time. It would take him an average an hour to take in 6-8 oz of milk and he drinks 4 times a day. He would drink the first few ounces fine, but refuse to drink the rest of the milk with arching his back, turning his head, crying, kicking his feet, gagging, etc.
I read it from another post that some people have use Nat Phos 6x for a similar case. I know that each baby is different, and what works for other babies might not work for my son, especially for being born prematurely.
Will Nat Phos 6x helps him with the acid reflux and in getting off the Prevacid? If not, do you have any suggestion for me?
I greatly appreciate any help you can provide. All I want is my son to enjoy his feeding time and not suffer every time when we have to feed him.
Thank you soooo much.

Your baby at 7.5 months of age may prove to be a difficult patient to cure but as long as you persist in following my proven therapy, it is very likely that we can succeed in curing him in a few months.
I shall copy my default therapy which I have prescribed to hundreds of mothers for their babies below:
The remedies that have proved to be very effective for Baby GERD are:
Nat Phos 6x dose half tablet dissolved in milk given immediately after a feed. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours. Please note that Nat Phos 6x is absolutely safe in use for babies.
Nux Vomica 30c in the Wet dose given twice daily. Half teaspoonful is a dose.
Do not overfeed baby as this will overload his digestive system. It is best to give small feeds but more often especially at the start to enable his stomach to stabilise.
You will STOP all other drugs prescribed for baby which as you have already seen have not done any good.
Please confirm that you burp baby immediately after each feed.
You will avoid eating all food that can cause any distress to baby. You must know that they are passed on to baby through your breast milk.
The following applies to mothers who breast feed but if you wish to reduce your weight you too will benefit from this remedy.
You (the mother) will take Nat Phos 6x dose 2 tablets after each of 3 meals daily and Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily. The idea is that your milk will pass the effect to baby. You may like to know that this remedy will also help to reduce your weight by 1kg per week very safely.
Report progress in 24 hours and as often as you wish on this thread .
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.

Thank you for your post but I do not have any experience with using Calc Phos 6x and I prefer not to experiment with remedies especially when prescribing them to babies.
The advantage in using Nat Phos is that it promotes perystalsis and thereby prevent the baby from spitting up the milk and I have prescribed it to hundreds of babies whose mothers were desperate for a cure of their Baby's Reflux.
I shall copy the Notes by Dr Schuessler
Sodium and Phosphate ions are to be found in our body in the muscle, nerve and brain cells, in the blood corpuscles and in the tissue fluids. According to Dr Schuessler, Nat Phos splits the lactic acid, which is produced by the work of muscles into carbonic acid and water. The carbonic acid is absorbed by the sodium phosphate and brought to the lungs where it is eliminated in the process of breathing. If sodium phosphate is lacking, there results an excess of lactic acid and consequently a sour taste, heart burn, sour stools, vomiting of sour, caseous matter, particularly in babies who are overfed with sugar and milk. If lactic acid reaches the lymphatic glands, the albumin of the lymph glands coagulates and the gland begins to swell. In the initial stages of swelling of the lymphatic glands therefore, Nat Phos has a healing effect because it can split lactic acid. Nat Phos further assures that the uric acid of the blood which is formed by the splitting up of the albuminous substance is kept in solution and secreted by the kidneys. Should this not be the case, uric acid will be deposited in the joints. The sequels are Rheumatism. Gout, Sciatica, Lumbago. In the Gall, Nat Phos saponifies the fatty acids which have been consumed with the food. It is hence indicated against digestive disturbances resulting from excessive consumption of fat.
I would appreciate if you can please share your experience in the use of Calc Phos 6x use and the reason why you prefer it to Nat Phos 6x
