BedWetting Belladonna Questions

Hello. I am very new to homeopathy, but willing to try anything to help my 10 yr old boy with bed wetting. He is a healthy boy, rarely even a head cold, stutters when excited, but very well spoken otherwise, active in sports, pleasant except in the morning. He has never had a dry night and lately he is very upset by this. He is EARLY in going through puberty as well.
I've read other threads about Belladonna and bought some today (6x).
What does this dose mean?
How often to give it to him?
And for how long? DAYS? WEEKS? MONTHS?

  angellgood on 2013-07-01
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give him three doses of Stramonium 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

It should work better than Belladonna in this case.

THANK YOU! I will check our local natural store for Stramonium.
200 (is that x or c?) total equals one dose correct?

angellgood last decade
Hi Angelgood,

If you are in usa, canada, you are not going to find this remedy
in the local store. You need to order it off of this site-
abc remedies shop. It is 200c.( takes around 4 days)

Usa does not have potencies above a 30 c in the stores and this
is not a regular remedy they carry either.

If you are in Europe, order from Helios Homeopathic Pharmacy.( takes
around 5 to 7 days)

Thanks Simone717. I appreciate all the great info you gave me. Before I received your post, I found Borion 200ck from Ideal Pharmacy at Amazon
But I will definitely look at the price difference on this website.
Hope to update with positive results for my son :)

angellgood last decade
Recd the Stramonium 200ck in the mail and the directions state 5 pellets three times a day, but I will follow your instructions:
2 pills in morning, day 1
2 pills in evening, day 1
2 pills in morning, day 2

then wait 13 days

CORRECT?

angellgood last decade
btw- on homeopathic remedies never follow bottle
directions. When remedies begin to work you stop the remedy
and wait and only take more if you go backwards or
plateau.

Also you have directions correct.

simone717 last decade
THANKS! Could I start tonight instead?

angellgood last decade
Kadwa is prescribing- he should be on here soon- wait for him
to advise on that.

simone717 last decade
The schedule indicates three doses at a gap of 12 hours. Morning - Evening - Morning Sequence is not mandatory.

kadwa last decade
Oh I see. 12 hour intervals. Well, we will start this morning since he is 10 yr old and was in bed.
Excited for my little man to start

angellgood last decade
We did the 3 doses every twelve hours. It's been a few days now without and I've seen NO difference in wetting. I've marked my calendar at the 15 day mark to start the dosage again. Would this be correct?

angellgood last decade
The report in would then be on 7-25. If nothing goes on
the remedy is not right and you will be prescribed another one.

Kadwa will read this and decide now if you have to wait
further to see if anything happens. In the meantime it would
be good to fill out the answers to this form on here-
so that more info is there to prescribe on.

Hi couple questions I have on this-

On temperature- In homeopathy it is called the Thermals.
What weather does he really like the best? What weather
does he not like?

The fact he has a round stool, indicates perhaps
constipation or that issue due to dehydration. I would
think that perhaps he is limiting fluid intake all the time
due to the bedwetting. How much water/fluids does
he take a day?

Wait for Kadwa to look at all of this.

Thanks,

Simone717

Thanks Simone717
Yes, I have always thought he doesn't drink enough and I have to remind him throughout the day. He does have BM everyday though.

Weather: I asked him and he says he prefers the COLD temperatures (me too! Gotta love living in Maine)

angellgood last decade
Please give him Pulsatilla 200 in the same way and wait for 15 days. If this doesn't help give Belladonna 200 in the same way and report back.

kadwa last decade
Thank you Kadwa. Do you need to wait til the end of the 15 day Stramonium suggestion before starting Pulsatilla?

angellgood last decade
Whether Stram has any effect on his stuttering?

kadwa last decade
Good morning Kadwa. I was so hopeful for the same outcome about his stuttering. No difference though.
My son has been in speech therapy since age 5 and has made tremendous strides in controlling his speech. I am one proud Mom.

angellgood last decade
Pulsatilla arrived today. Plan to do same dosage as Stramonium:

2 pills this evening
2 pills morning (12 hours)
2 pills tomorrow evening (12 more hours)

Very hopeful.

angellgood last decade
Gave my son the 12 hour interval doses of Pulsatilla on the 25th & 26th accordingly. No change in wetness at night.

When should we try Belladonna? After the 15 days?

the Belladonna I bought from local store lists as 6X
So, very unsure of how many tablets to give when the right time arrives.

Thank you in advance

angellgood last decade
Yes- after the 15 days.

You need to purchase Belladonna 200c- you can order it off
the abc remedies shop- 3 usa suppliers. Usa stores do not
carry potencies over a 30c.

On dosing, just scroll up to the first prescription on Stramonium.
All the dosing instructions are the same for each remedy.

simone717 last decade
We did the 3 doses every twelve hours of Pulsatilla with NO difference in wetting.
My son now has taken the 3rd dose of Belladonna this morning. So,

2 pills Aug 11 morning
2 pills Aug 11 evening
2 pills Aug 12 morning

We are both so hopeful that THIS is the one.

SIGH! OK, now where do I turn? I've tried everything in this thread and nothing has changed his night wetting. This morning was soaked as usual. Frustrated Mom :(

Hi- There are a lot of good homeopaths in New England. I think you
should take him in person, bc there is a lot more diagnostic tools homeopaths
have when they see someone face to face.

If you need help on finding a person, let me know.
