GERD in 2 week old

My dr recently diagnosed my 2 week old son with GERD. Dr prescribed him 1mL Zantac 3 times a day. This medicine does not seem to alleviate his silent reflux. I believe it is silent reflux because he does not spit up or vomit after breastfeeding. He arches his back while BF, grunts a lot, sneezes, sounds congested but only at certain times in the day. His reflux is the worse at night - he wakes up gagging, wheezing and his nose sounds clogged. I ordered the NatPhos6x and it will arrive tomorrow. Can you please advise how to dilute the tablets, and the frequency in which I should give it to him

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Start out with no more than 5 doses in a 24 hour period.
Use 1/2 of one tab.Dissolve it in one tablespoon of water.
Spoon it in or use a dropper after a feeding.

See how it goes. Sometimes babies need one full tab bc
you can see the 1.2 tab is helping but not total relief. You
need to try the 1.2 tab out for a couple days first. When
Things work you reduce the amount of doses as you go along.

Just to clarfy - by no more than 5 doses are you referring to 5 whole tabs, which would be 10 half, or 5 half tabs?

No- whether you do 1/2 tab or a full tab,

I mean do not do this more than 5 times in
24 hours.
