Treatment for High LDL & Cholesterol

Dear Respected Doctor, i have recently diagnosed with High Level of LDL i have undergone Lipid Profile Routine test with following findings :

LDL : 156
HDL 43
Trygliceride : 79
Total Cholesterol : 180
My BP is Normal 118/74 .. i have started Exercise on regular basis & also started controled fat Free diet .. request kindly advice what medcine should i take to reduce LDL & Total Cholesterol

Jsut to add on few more things my Age is 43 Sex male , Height 5'10' Weight 75 Kgs Blood Glucose level is Normal like fasting 80 & Random 102
