jet lag

I will be flying soon from Europe to the USA. What can I take to help deal with jet lag. In the past I have not been able to deal well with jet lag. I read an earlier post about Arnica. Is there something else to take? I think I read something about Gelsemium for jet lag but I can't find it now. Any suggestions?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I note that you are aware of my post about Arnica being the ultimate remedy to counter Jet Lag which I made over a year ago.

If you decide to use it, the dose is 2 globules, if you take the dry dose, or a teaspoonful if you take the wet dose 3 times daily the day before you travel. You should also use Arnica 1 globule (dry dose) on board every 3 hours when you will find that you will be asleep most of the time. After you land you should also continue the dose 3 times daily and you will discover that you will not be affected by jet lag.

I have travelled from Colombo to Columbus OH and have no problem with jet lag at all as I arrive at my destination completely rested on board.

Arnica is truly an amazing remedy for which I have discovered many uses not recorded in the text books including my latest for the control of Diabetes.

Thanks Joe for your reply. OK I will give Arnica a try. I hope my daughter lets me sleep on the plane. She is 7. Can I give her the same remedy and dose? What potency of Arnica do you recommend? I will use the globules.

Pardon me for not having mentioned the potency which is 30c.

Yes you can give it to your 7 year old but I would prefer that you use the 6c for her preferably in the wet dose which is made up as follows:

Method to be followed to make the wet dose.
Get a 500ml bottle of spring water
Pour out 100ml
Put in 3 globules or 1 drop if you have the liquid remedy.
Hit the bottle hard on your palm or a cushion and watch for the water to fizzle like when you open a bottle of soda.
Sip a teaspoonful as recommended above.

You too can use the Arnica 30c in the wet dose instead of the dry globules.
