TMJ & 5 Pregnant

I had dental work back on Nov 14th, 2013 and since then my TMJ has been flaring up a lot. I feel a burning ache a lot in my jaw and found out its TMJ. What can I take naturally to treat the burning ache that is also safe for pregnancy? I'm 5 weeks 2 days pregnant.

Q-6: 2 mtgs ?
Q-7: wanness ?

All questions to be answered as you are feeling during this condition, not in general.

Which side is it
Which tooth was pulled & why
Has Arnica helped

Q-6 Been dealing with it for 2 months.
Q-7 I feel a warmness in my jaw. On the right side in the joint area. Its called TMJ. I had a back molar on that same side as the warmness. It was pulled because it cracked from grinding my teeth at night. I however have a mouth guard that I got from my dentist that I wear at night. Arnica helps at times but not always.

Seemingly its the tip of the iceberg that I asked. I can't prescribe correctly if there are underlying issues as such a prescription will most likely be suppressive in nature.

fitness 9 years ago
Having said above, please have a dose of Bellis Perennis 200c, just one dose and report back.

You need a constitutional remedy to address your teeth grinding and other issues.

I have TMJ do you know what that is? Have you ever treated someone with TMJ? Also is Bellis Perennis 200c pregnancy safe? Where would i get that from? Thanks so much for all your help.

Do you think I have brought the prescription out of air?

I have treated several cases of TMJ all due to different reasons.

All remedies are safe intrinsically but if an underlying situation which has not been identified in the case causes an issue, I don't know about that.

Order over the internet.

I don't know what your implying from your first question. If your being sarcastic, its not needed. I just wondering if you knew much about TMJ. What else could I take on top of the Bellis?

CraftyMomma09 9 years ago
Bell-P should be able to provide relief within 12 hrs, assuming its the right remedy.

And yes, I was being sarcastic as I'd be out of my mind to prescribe without knowing.

Btw, you can and should click on the usernames to know who is prescribing for you.

I tried Bell-P still having that warm/ burn in feeling in my jaw off and on. Some days its okay and some days its bad. What else can I try?

I also want to add I am no longer pregnant and had a miscarriage last week.

CraftyMomma09 9 years ago
Did Bell-P provide some relief or not.

fitness 9 years ago
It did provide some relief but not a lot.

CraftyMomma09 9 years ago

fitness 9 years ago
Maybe about %35 - %40 percent of relief.

Took another dose, still feeling the burning feeling. My dentist said its my muscle spasming. Don't know if I mention that before? What else can I try?

What makes the pain better & worse.

fitness 9 years ago
I don't really know what makes it worst. It usually just comes and goes through out the day. When it comes on I will massage it, plus apply ice packs to it.

CraftyMomma09 9 years ago
Do ice packs provide relief or something warm does

fitness 9 years ago
The ice does help but warmth doesn't really help.

CraftyMomma09 9 years ago
Take a dose of Arnica 200c and report back.

I actually took a dose of Arnica 200c this morning before reading what you said. Its still acting up. I also apply a arnica homeopathic cream too.

CraftyMomma09 9 years ago
Okay so the arnica I have isn't 200c its 30c. How much should I take to equal 200c or should i order some? It will be a few days before it comes in.

CraftyMomma09 9 years ago
Take two doses of 30c, 12 hrs apart.
