eye allergy spring catarrh

My son is 6 years old and he is diagnosed with spring catarrh, vernal kerato conjuctivitis. Doctors prescribe mild steroids but we are concerned about the side effects of the same. We want to go for homeopathic med if there is any. It would be very helpful if i can get some help here.

Effected area: eyes
Worst in: dust and humid air
Photo sensitive
Red,Strain, itching and hot eyes while inflamed
White membrane around the circunference of eyeball and seldom white spots on it.

Euphrasia 30 three times daily for three days .8 pills as one dose or two drops in 2 table spoon of water as one dose .
