Possible flu vaccine side effect

Trusting doctors I had my daughter vaccinated with pandemrix 4 yrs ago. From around the same time she has had an almost permanent blocked runny nose and sneezes every morning when she wakes and frequently through the day. I thought for a long time it was hay fever but it carried on through the winter months without ceasing. She is now seven. Is there a counter remedy that will help.Have tried to find thimerosol 30c but not available in uk.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
There are not specific remedies for vaccinosis, you have to still take the case just like normal and prescribe on the basis of the overall picture.

In fact after such a long time, there is no vaccine to counter any longer, it will have been eliminated out of her system years ago. There is only the imbalance in her health, and regardless of the trigger, you must take the symptom picture as a whole and prescribe one remedy for it. This procedure never changes, regardless of what instigates disease.

Is there a remedy for her blocked runny nose and sneezing as a normal treatment. Her health history :-
Traumatic birth as mouth open when checked by midwife and not breathing when born blockage in mouth or throat staff worked on her for aprox three mins then breathed and cried.
From age one to two years suffered regularly with constipation doctor visited and prescription was a mild liquid laxative.
I can see an ever so slight blue area line under her skin on her nose at eye level otherwise bright clever happy little girl not prone to illness. Good normal growth lots of energy never still. Normal skin colour not thin or pale.
Ate a nightshade berry when she was three no symptoms but was taken to hospital treated with activated charcoal but the hospital staff were unable to put a feeding tube up her nose to give charcoal.
Suffered two times with high temperature fever and short panting breaths two years apart but recovered first within a few hours and second overnight on each occasion with only calpol.
Normal sleeping..

This article gives more information on how Vaccines can affect a person who was perfectly healthy and now suffers from their after effects.

I have already posted it on the ABC last week.

BBC News - Tamiflu: Millions wasted on flu vaccine

I am copying a report from the BBC website of yesterday who report that they have discovered how the UK has spent £473 MILLION in purchasing stockpiles of vaccines of Tamiflu which did not help to ensure that those vaccinated were immunised from them.

We are forgetting the side and after effects of the many other vaccines administered for Bird Flu H5N1, Swine Flu H1N1 and others which also caused serious side effects and even fatalities which were all promoted by the respective governments in many developed countries which did not have any positive results in preventing infection from these Viruses.

Tamiflu: Millions wasted on flu drug, claims major report

10 April 2014 Last updated at 00:56 By James Gallagher Health and science reporter, BBC News

Hundreds of millions of pounds may have been wasted on a drug for flu that works no better than paracetamol, a landmark analysis has said.

The UK has spent £473m on Tamiflu, which is stockpiled by governments globally to prepare for flu pandemics,

The Cochrane Collaboration claimed the drug did not prevent the spread of flu or reduce dangerous complications, and only slightly helped symptoms.

The manufacturers Roche and other experts say the analysis is flawed.

The antiviral drug Tamiflu was stockpiled from 2006 in the UK when some agencies were predicting that a pandemic of bird flu could kill up to 750,000 people in Britain. Similar decisions were made in other countries.

Hidden data
The drug was widely prescribed during the swine flu outbreak in 2009.

Drug companies do not publish all their research data. This report is the result of a colossal fight for the previously hidden data into the effectiveness and side-effects of Tamiflu.

It concluded that the drug reduced the persistence of flu symptoms from seven days to 6.3 days in adults and to 5.8 days in children. But the report's authors said drugs such as paracetamol could have a similar impact.

On claims that the drug prevented complications such as pneumonia developing, Cochrane suggested the trials were so poor there was 'no visible effect'.

Tamiflu was widely used during the swine flu outbreak
Another justification for stockpiling was to slow the spread of the disease to give time for a vaccine to be developed. The report's authors said 'the case for this is simply unproven' and 'there is no credible way these drugs could prevent a pandemic'.

It also claimed that the drug had a number of side-effects, including nausea, headaches, psychiatric events, kidney problems and hyperglycaemia.

Carl Heneghan, Professor of Evidence-Based Medicine at the University of Oxford and one of the report's authors, told the BBC: 'I think the whole £500m has not benefited human health in any way and we may have harmed people.

Analysis
James Gallagher Health and Science reporter, BBC News
'Does a drug work?' should be an easy question to answer. Yet after hundreds of millions of pounds, either down the drain or saving lives depending on your stance, this question is being asked of Tamiflu.
It stems from the way drugs are approved. Pharmaceutical companies conduct trials, some but not all of the data is made publicly available and regulators decide if it works. It is estimated that, entirely legally, half of clinical trials have never been reported and that favourable data is more likely to published.
The UK Public Accounts Committee said the lack of data available to researchers and doctors was 'of extreme concern'.
So the Tamiflu saga raises another important question - what other drugs are we using that might not work as well as we thought?
'The system that exists for producing evidence on drugs is so flawed and open to misuse that the public has been misled.'

Dr Tom Jefferson, a clinical epidemiologist and former GP, said: 'I wouldn't give it for symptom relief, I'd give paracetamol.'

The Cochrane Collaboration researchers have not placed the blame on any individual or organisation, instead saying there had been failings at every step from the manufacturers to the regulators and government.

'Wrong statistics'
However, there is disagreement about the findings and accusations that a simultaneous campaign to open up drug research is influencing the findings.

The pharmaceutical company Roche said 'we disagree with the overall conclusions' and warned they could 'potentially have serious public health implications'.

Its UK medical director, Dr Daniel Thurley, told the BBC News website: 'The definitive piece of research stands as the randomised control trials, which were shared with the regulators, which led to them in 100 countries around the world approving Tamiflu for treatment and prevention of flu.'

He said the Cochrane group had used the wrong statistics, which 'systematically underestimate the benefits' of the drug, and used 'unorthodox' methods to analyse the side-effects.

He concluded: 'One of the challenges we have here is actually knowing what they've done.'

Prof Wendy Barclay, who researches the influenza virus at Imperial College London, said reducing symptoms is children by 29 hours would be 'pretty beneficial'.

She told the BBC: 'Tamiflu works as well as any drug we have now or [that] is on the cards.

'Yes, I think they should replenish the stockpile. What else can you do if a pandemic strikes? We won't have a vaccine for the first six months.'

She also questioned the validity of the research as it analysed the impact during seasonal flu: 'If it works a little bit in season flu, the chances are they'll work quite a lot better in a pandemic situation and get more people back to school and work.'

Kevin McConway, a professor of applied statistics at the Open University, said it was an 'impressive' piece of work.

He said: 'It is a potential limitation of this study that the work has been carried out alongside campaigning on access to trial data.

'The writers of the review have a clear position in this controversy, and, although I personally do generally agree with their position, I feel it does at times lead to some confusion between reporting the results of the review of these particular drugs and commenting on the general position on access to and use of unpublished data.'

The UK Department of Health said Britain was recognised as 'one of the best prepared countries in the world for a potential flu pandemic' and 'our stockpile of antivirals is a key part of this.

'We regularly review all published data and will consider the Cochrane review closely.'

The World Health Organization, which classes Tamiflu as an essential medicine, said: 'We welcome a new and rigorous analysis of available data, and look forward to consideration of its findings after it appears.'

There are very few symptoms to prescribe on here. I looked at the following rubrics:

Sneezing constant
Nasal obstruction with discharge
Spring aggravates
Dreams of fire
Ailments from vaccination
Desires ice cream
Aversion to hot food

The only remedy which appears in all these rubrics is Silicea.

Please obtain Silicea 30c, preferably in a liquid (oral medication) dose.

These are the instructions for dosing:

Hit the bottle firmly against the palm of the hand 5 times.

Place a single drop upon her tongue.

Do this once only and report the response after 4 days.

Ok, I assume there has been no aggravation either?

Assuming not, then I would proceed with a more aggressive treatment plan. Repeat the remedy daily for 3 days, exactly as before. Hit the bottle 10 times before each dose, and stop if any of her symptoms appear to worsen.

I will treat more. After day 6 I tried her with mixed pollen 30c liquid that I found on the site. I gave her 2 drops and the following day she went to bed with fully blocked nose and puffy eyes poor girl so I have given no more for now.

Giving other remedies will interfere with anything I try to do, so it is important that you stick to one remedy at a time.

Remedy responses may not be visible until the second week after the dose in some cases, so using another remedy so soon can stop any progress.
