Dog with lymphoma

Yesterday my sister's small dog, Ruby shihtzu/maltese) was diagnosed with lymphoma. We do not want to go with chemotherapy as Ruby is very sensitive changes/meds and her GI system is easily upset. What would you suggest for a homeopathic route? A bit about Ruby: approx 1.5 months ago started with bloody loose stools, weight loss, loss of appetite. Vet gave course of antibiotics in case of a stomach infection. Lymph nodes are not swollen around neck legs or groin. Enlarged nodes are only visible in trunk of body by ultrasound. Vet felt enlarged nodes in rectal area. Ruby has some difficulty with passing stools. Appetite is back and eating a home cooked diet.
Thank you for any advice.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Are the enlarged nodes soft or hard to touch and are they moveable.

The nodes that are enlarged are in the trunk of her body. They were only visible by ultrasound and were big. These ones could not be felt by the vet. The vet could feel a mass in her rectum. We don't know if any of the nodes are hard, soft or moveable.
Apparently this is not the usual presentation of lymphoma but were told there is no other reason lymph nodes would be that large.

Give it a dose of Conium 200c and report back in 2 weeks.

I will head out and look for Conium today. Thank you!

I made a few calls to some local stores and no luck finding Conium. I ordered online through this site instead. Hopefully have it next week.

FOR ANIMALS:
One dose is made by dissolving one pill of the remedy (or one drop, if you have liquid remedy) in half a glass of water. Stir it and take one tea spoon from it.

Okay, I'll make sure to follow these instructions. Thanks again.

Hello. My sister not given her little dog Ruby the conium yet. She is worried about any `side effects`it may have. Do you know what to expect after giving the remedy or what to watch for. Ruby still has an appetite although is slowing down. Thank you.

There are no side effects, improvement should follow within 1-2 weeks.

Update on Ruby: it's been a little over 2 weeks since we gave her the conium. We noticed that she seemed tired for a day after and she had a larger than normal bowel movement. Since then most days have been good with more energy and being playful. There are still some low energy days. Still has an appetite, which is better in the evening. It appears that there is some slight swelling in the abdomen, which she does not like touched.
Will she need another dose of conium of another remedy?

How much would you rate the improvement in %

Initially 80-90% improvement. My sister said this week Ruby seems to be back to initial state (prior to giving conium). So symptoms are: tired, legargy, looks unwell, out of breath.

I should add that they've noticed an increase in thirst lately.

Give another dose.

Thank you! They will give it today.

Hello. We gave the conium dose 3 days ago and so far little has changed. This morning she vomited 4 times, but did eat some bland food of chicken & rice. Stomach is still slightly bloated and she does not like to be touched. will just get up and move. Would you suggest anything else at this point or continue to wait?

What change has been observed.

fitness 9 years ago
More sleepy the first day, otherwise no change in symptoms have been observed since the second dose. Vomiting this morning is new. Still has an appetite an ate supper.

No more doses, just observe and report back in 4 days.

It's been a week and a half and Ruby is doing good. No more vomiting and she's back to 'herself' again. Sorry, but I forgot to let you know at the 4 day mark.
Thanks again!

Good.

Good Afternoon. We are happy to report that Ruby has been doing great every since her second dose in August.
Some observations to note are... increased appetite so we've upped her protein slightly. Good energy level. Her lymph nodes at the hips/in front of legs feel like movable small grapes. Her abdomen does seem swollen. Yesterday she had a loose stool. Today she had 2 more loose stools with some mucous and blood mixed in.
Can you let me know if anything else to do at this time?

Give one dose of the remedy now.

Okay, we will. Thank you.

An update with Ruby: she's been having trouble passing bowel movements lately. Brought to the vet and mass in rectum has grown, but still has a small opening. Vet thinks rectum was primary site. No surgery available. Last option was to give a steroid injection to see if it will reduce size of mass. Will know within a day or two. If no reduction then no other medical options for her. They will have to make a tough decision...leaving her in this condition would lead to a painful bowel perforation.
Are there any other homeopathic options at this point?
