Quick Discharge / Premature Ejaculation

Hi,

I have been suffering from premature ejaculation since almost 6 years now when I got married. Till few days back I have not taken any medicine for its cure. Instead I tried to recover from it by using mind diversion methods, but non of them worked. I hardly stand 2/3 strokes.

Recently, I read on this forum about Baryta Carb 30, which was suggested by some Docs and also recommended by some members of this forum.

After that I decided to try it out and bought it from the homeo-store near my house. I have been taking it since almost 10 days now in total, initially I started with 3 drop in a half glass of water once a day, but there was no effect. After that as mentioned in some of the posts here, I started taking it twice a day 3 drops in morning and 6 drop before sleep. Its been 7 days now taking twice a day, but still no effect.

I would request Docs on this forum to please suggest the next step forward. Should I increase the dosage to 8 drops twice a day or is there any other recommendation ?

I am a married person of 32 years age and I am desperately seeking a remedy for this as the problem is really worrying me now.

An immediate help is really required.

Men and Sex – The Myth vs Reality

Please click on my username to know about me. It will help you establish the reliability of what is written below. I am very critical about the sources where I gather info from. It’s mostly universities or government sources that I gather my info from.

It’s surprising to see how much misinformation exists about sexual health of men. This in turn makes most healthy men feel inadequate due to one reason or another. Those who have heard about homeopathy turn to it for a solution or a miracle cure for a “disease” that never was. You should do your own research to form an educated opinion. Just don’t rely on hearsay.

In this article I will try to clarify a few misconceptions about following topics:
1. Masturbation
2. Premature Ejaculation (PE)
3. Penis size
4. Nocturnal emissions a.k.a Night fall, Wet dreams, Ejaculating in sleep
5. Heart health & ED (erectile dysfunction)

MASTURBATION
Just 30-40 years back, masturbation was considered a sin in almost all cultures and feelings of guilt were associated with it. Even homeopathic literature is full of such explanations which is a reflection of the times in which it was written. Now times have changed, and with experience people have learnt that it’s a healthy activity when done in moderation. Its unhealthy if your life revolves around it and nothing else. The definition of moderation is different for everyone, once a week maybe moderate for some and once a day would be moderate for others. Just remember, that it’s not moderate if it makes you feel weak & lethargic after it.

In developed nations it’s a non-issue as it’s the accepted norm. There is a joke about it which says that 90% young men masturbate and 10% lie. People have embraced it as normal and healthy because with education and common observation everyone has seen that “masturbating sinners” don’t suffer from any ill health.

Unfortunately, the stigma and the feelings of sin are still prevalent in most developing & under-developed nations. With the ease with which all sorts of porn is available to everyone the teenagers are fighting two opposing urges most of the time. If they watch porn, they need the release. Since masturbation is the easiest form of release, that’s what they do. After doing that the feeling of guilt starts setting in because that is what they have been made to believe through various societal or religious norms.

To top it all, many homeopaths and pseudo-homeopaths cash in on this guilt and further drive home the message that masturbation is wrong and the source of all health problems. This is total non-sense as the practical evidence is contrary to this. If this theory was correct that masturbation causes health issues almost all men would be sick.

The young minds are impressionable and in the absence of proper sex education, hearsay is all they rely on. Which is not only unreliable but sometimes dangerously wrong. There is no short cut to removing this stigma, only time & education can help.

PREMATURE EJACULATION:
Most of the men who complain about PE (premature ejaculation) have two sources of information, either listening about someone’s heroic stamina or watching porn.

That someone could be friends boasting about their sustaining power which mostly is a lie.

In case of porn, when you see a male star going at it for maybe 30 minutes, it’s either a combination of multiple shots taken over several sessions and/or an acquired trait where the male stars have developed stamina by using the start-stop technique explained below. remember, those scenes are removed from the movie when a male stars ejaculates early during a scene. That scene is then shot again and what you get to watch is a continuous session making you believe something which is not true.

Any good sex education class will tell you all of this which I am writing here.

The fact is that most healthy men ejaculate within 1-3 minutes of non-stop stimulation. This time increases with age as all body functions get slower and weaker. So if you are within this time, you are “normal” and stop fretting PE.

If you want to increase your time before ejaculation, it’s an acquired trait and you can train yourself to last as long as you want. It’s easy and here is how to do it.

During sex arouse yourself and reach as close to the point of ejaculation as you can, then stop the stimulation and let the urge to ejaculate subside. Then start over again. Keep doing this cycle and you will last much longer. This is called start-stop technique and doesn’t require any medicine. You will get better at it with practice.

To satisfy your wife, learn this science: The average time of orgasm for most women is 15-20 minutes, so you have two choices, either increase your time before ejaculation to 15-20 minutes or increase the time of foreplay to 15-20 minutes and then you & your wife can both have enjoyable sex culminating in an orgasm for both of you.

PENIS SIZE:
Next comes the size of penis, again, porn is to blame for that. Most men have been made to believe that their penis size is small. Yes, there are some men who are better endowed than others but it’s uncommon. You have to understand, the average height of men is different in different races, just like that, the average penis size is different in different races.

As it’s uncommon that you will see 7 ft tall men, similarly you will not see men with 9” penises. Both these are uncommon traits. The same is true for breast sizes, it’s uncommon to see immensely huge breasts. I hope you can see the pattern here.

NOCTURNAL EMISSIONS:
Nocturnal Emissions are a sign of a healthy body and if a teenager ejaculates in sleep every other days, it’s ok. The only time it may require some homeopathic intervention is if its daily and as a result the daytime routine suffers due to fatigue & tiredness. If you are energetic & fresh then even daily ejaculation is fine.

HEART HEALTH & ED:
Penis response is an excellent indicator of heart health. It has been confirmed by many heart specialists that all those things which negatively affect the heart do the same to the penis. The valves in your penis which cause erection work on the same principle as the valves in the heart and are almost the same material. The fine capillaries which provide blood flow to the penis also get affected in the same way as the heart capillaries with arteriosclerosis (hardening & plaque deposition in arteries). Furthermore, the statin drugs that most heart patients and people with high cholesterol are prescribed also cause a diminished libido.

So what is the solution to all these problems. Unfortunately there is no quick fix. If your blood vessels have been choked with plaque and have hardened due to poor eating habits, lack of exercise or genetics then reversing it all is difficult, more so if you are above 50. I did and i will practice. I am not refering to this forum because i think i am weak by watching an adult movie or hearing someone's heroic story. The reason why i am here is because i feel i cannot hold inside enough to satisfy my partner.

I feel naturally there has to be a balance in both male and female ejaculation time so that they can satisfy each other. When my partner is ejaculating normally and i am just lasting a second then there is a problem. So if there is a problem it has to be treated medically or mentally.

Moreover, there are people in this forum who are suffering from the same problem and at least they can hold for minute, but for me its a matter of seconds. So either they are in better condition than me or may be they are too weak to ejaculate in seconds.

I feel naturally a men should last average 5 minutes on continous stimulation. I dont have any evidence for it but its just something that i feel logical.

I need expert advice whether its a medical problem or i am being just too sensitive about it.

Moreover, can someone tell me what is a normal ejaculation time on continous stimulation?

Well, one of the points Fitness was making is that you cannot take one of our medicines in that way and expect it to help. Our medicines are only effective when they are individually chosen for the patient, based on all of their relevant symptoms (the whole case).

Despite what some practitioners may imply, you get better results by having the whole case taken and a single medicine prescribed on the basis of the entire picture of your health.

I can do that if you wish. As a classical homoeopath I require an extensive amount of information. Would you like me to post my questionnaire?

There is no 'normal time'. How soon you ejaculate depends on several factors, the most important being the 'refractory period'.

How frequently do you have sex with your wife and is it always within seconds or does it vary at different times.

I will post my questionnaire. Try to answer everything you can, and the longer your answers the better for me. The quality of treatment in homoeopathy depends heavily on the quality of information we are given.

Try not to use single words to answer (like yes, no, nothing, sometimes etc - be more descriptive).

In homoeopathy, prescription is based on precise details of various symptoms from which you suffer. To tell or write to a homoeopathic physician 'I have a headache ', ' an eruption ' or “a cough” would not be enough. If you inform him 'I have headache with sharp shooting pains in the left side of the head and temple, these pains always come on when the slightest cold air strikes the head. I feel better by pressing the head very hard.” Then only you have given all the information required for making a good homoeopathic prescription. The success of the prescription depends; largely on how detailed your description of the symptoms is.
We require the following details about your symptoms.

LOCATION: Please give the exact location of sensation, pain or eruption. Also describe where the pain or sensation spreads.

SENSATION: Express the type of sensation or the pain that you get in your own words however simple or funny it may seem. You may have a sensation that a mouse is crawling or the heart was grasped by an iron hand or you may have a pain that is cutting, burning jerking, pressing. LOCATION & SENSATION:

While having intercourse I feel heavy sensation on my entire penis specially on the shaft and not to much on the head. Sometimes sensation starts during foreplay if the it is long (like around 15 minutes or so) then it becomes difficult to hold, but somehow I manage to hold it till my penis is inserted. Right after the insertion of penis the urge of ejaculating dominates so much that it becomes really difficult to hold the ejaculation. But if I insert slowly and wait for a while like 15 to 20 seconds before I begin stroking then I can stroke 2-3 times. Thats it.

Questions:

• What is your complaint?
- I am suffering from Premature ejaculation. I can only stroke 2 - 3 times during intercourse (2 - 3 seconds) and the urge of ejaculating really takes over. However, i think my foreplay duration is okay.

• When did the complaint begin?
- I started feeling it 6 years before, when I got married. I mean when I had my first intercourse.

• Where is it located?
- I dont understand this. Can you please elaborate.

• What sort of sensations (and emotions) do you associate with it?
- I feel dissatisfied and its not a good feeling. It feels like I need more duration of sex rather than just seconds after a good duration of foreplay.

• When does it tend to occur (time/day)
- Anytime when I do intercourse, day or night does not matter.

• Does anything make it better or worse?

Factors that makes it worse:

- If the gap between one intercourse and other intercourse is more than 5 days approx. then I really start feeling that I need to have sex. In this case it becomes difficult to hold even during foreplay.

- During sex, if I really get involved in it and enjoy it then it becomes really difficult to hold the ejaculation.

- If my partner is doing something that I really want and enjoy at that moment, then it becomes difficult to hold.

- If me and my partner plan to do sex hours before we actually starts doing it then it becomes difficult to hold.

- If I see something that really attracts me and if I do sex after that then it becomes difficult to hold.

in all of the cases mentioned above I feel that I cannot hold and I ejaculate long before I actually should ejaculate.

Factors that makes it better:

I cant think of any factor that makes it better except that if the frequency of intercourse increases like if I do intercourse once everyday then after 2 to 3 days I feel I can stroke 4 to 5 times and the urge to ejaculate is not that much. At this stage the start and stop method works. For example, when I feel slight bit of urge to ejaculate and I stop stroking and wait for 30 seconds then the urge goes away and I can again stroke for 4 to 5 times and I can do it again and again as long as I want. starting and stoping.

Start stop method also works sometimes even when the urge it high. in this case I stroke just once, stop for 30 seconds and again stroke for 1 or 2 times and this goes on the same way.

but doing this really takes away the enjoyment and I feel my partner is also not enjoying it. Also by doing this my focus goes away from sex.

• How does it bother you? How is it coming in way of your day-to-day life?

It really bothers me because I cannot enjoy sex as a normal person would do. Moreover, it makes me and my partner dissatisfied. Me and my partner really like sex but when we do it, I cannot hold even for a minute after insertion in to my partner. This really makes me unhappy and dissatisfied.

• How does it feel like to have this/these problem/s?

Not good. not good at all. whenever I start intercourse I already know that I cannot hold my ejaculation even if I encourage my self that I can do it, still I cannot.

• What is the effect of this/these problem/s on you?

I am unhappy as I told you. But this problem does not disturb me mentally and physically. I still like to do sex. but the thing is that I cannot enjoy it for long as a normal person would do.

• Did any event happen which caused the complaint? Describe the emotion associated with it.
I have been doing masturbation before my marriage for at least 6 to 7 years and I think this habbit has caused premature ejaculation.

• What are the other symptoms started with it, esp. mental and physical symptoms, which are not directly related to the main complaint.
no other symptoms. just this problem.

• What are your reactions with it?
internally I feel sad that I cannot enjoy sex because of premature ejaculation as a normal person would do.

Also, can you list for me all the homoeopathic medicines you have had, including potency, and if they had any reaction.

I have not tried any sort of allopathic medicine to cure this yet. Recently I read on this forum that Baryta Carb 30 is the medicine I should use so I used it for 6-7 days and had no improvement. After that I tried Baryta Carb 200 for 1 day and then I stopped after posting my problem separately here.

After 5-6 days of starting these medicines I see some pimples on my body (3 or 4). They are pinkish-red in color and the head of them is white. they hurt a little and they also disappear in 3-4 days.

I never had pimples in my life so I think they are because of the reaction of this medicine.

Since 2 days I have stopped taking Baryta Carb.

- I am a very cool minded person and I dont take too much stree or tension of anything. I dont think of anything that bothers me all the time except this issue that I am suffering from premature ejaculation.

- If somebody is lazy and slow then this makes me sick. I am very active and extrovert person, therefore I get annoyed easily when someone is delaying things or acting lazy. In this case sometimes I tell them about my feeling, or I take their work and do it or I just yell inside me.

3. What incidents in your life have had a deep impact on you? Describe each incident in detail and how they made you feel? What did you do in those situations? What effect have they had on your life?

- I cant think of any.

4. What are you afraid of? Especially important are phobias, but it might be objects, situations or events that just produce a high level of anxiety. How do you manage your fears? How do you react when confronted with these fears? What would be the worst situation for you to be put in that would provoke these fears? You may need to talk about each fear/anxiety separately.

- nopes nothing. no fear or phobias.

- I like to play with my kids. no specific hobby.

- nopes, i am not a consistant person. I do long term planning but I usually dont keep up with them.

- nopes.

- Cant think of any, I dont have fears or I have never came across them thats why I dont know.

- When I went for a tour with my friends at a remote hill station. It was awesome and I would love to go again and again. I felt that I was really free from all responsibilites and work, it was awesome.

opposite would be, staying at home and studing for exams.

- yes, when I really want to have sex then I ejaculate early.

- no difficulties, initially me and my wife took some time to understand each other but after that everything is normal.

- ability to make correct decision under extreme pressures.
- Jolly and Humourous personality.

- I easily trust people. This way I test them.
- when I see something wrong or against my will then get angry quickly.

- nopes. I hardly see dreams.

- nopes.

- I was a very shy and coward kid, totally opposite of what actually I am now. I had a fear that something would fight with me or make fun of me. I was introvert.

- There were lot of financial problems. I have no siblings.

Usually straight facing towards roof or sidewise on the right side.

upside down.

no.


- any problems with going to sleep, staying asleep, or waking up?

I like to sleep and I have a very good sleep. Infact its hard to wake up. I usually sleep 10 hours on weekends.



2. Appetite

- What foods do you crave/desire strongly?
spicy foods.

- What foods do you hate eating (have an aversion to)?
mmm I cant think of any. I dont hate anything.

I keep myself hydrated. Usually when I wake up in the morning I feel thirsty.

after noon and evening.

brown, bad smell sometimes.

5. Urine

- Do you have any trouble passing or retaining urine?

usually very light yellow.

6. Sweat - How do you feel about the amount of perspiration you have?


- Where do you have the most sweat?

on my face.

brownish yellow.

- Does anything in particular cause you to sweat abnormally?

yes, slight bit of heat cause a lot of sweating, may be because I mostly stay in cool temperation under air conditioner.

7. Sexuality

- Any problems with your sexual desire?

I dont think there is any problem with sexual desire. Infact I think is slightly above normal.

- Any problems with your sexual ability or function?

yes, premature ejaculation. I hardly do 3 to 4 strokes before I ejaculate.

- Any history of sexually transmitted diseases?

- no disease.

Alright I looked at these physical symptoms:

Coition, enjoyment extreme
Ejaculation, too quick
Excitability of the genitals

When I look at the one remedy which appears in all these symptoms, and compare it to those other symptoms, I believe the remedy that would help you is Sulphur.

Obtain Sulphur 30c, preferably in liquid form.

If you instead have pillules or pellets, you will also need a small bottle and a dropper. Mix water and alcohol into this small bottle to the ratio of 5:1. Dissolve 3 pillules/pellets into this bottle. All doses will be made from this bottle.

If you already have a liquid dose just start from step 1.

1. Hit the bottle 5 times firmly against the palm of the hand

2. Place 3 drops into 100mls of clean fresh water

3. Stir very thoroughly

4. Take 2 teaspoons out into the mouth and hold for 20 seconds, then swallow.

This is one dose and the same steps should be taken for any further doses, unless I ask you to change them in some way.

I would like you to take one dose each day, for 3 days. If any symptom aggravates, you should stop even if you have not taken 3 doses.

okay, I will try that. Probably I will get it in a ready form from the homoeopath store near my house.

I will take 1 does per day for 3 days. If I feel any reaction I will stop it immediately.

I will only take 2 teaspoons from 100 mls of water rest I will throw.

I will prepare fresh dose every day for 3 days.

I will give you feedback after 3 days.

Also tell me which time of day should I take the dose ? Also whether it should be taken prior of having meal or after. If 'yes' then how much time before meal it should be taken.

This what I have understood, please acknowledge so that I can start.

I have been able to get sulphur 30 not 30c. Is that okay? please advise.

30 is the same as 30c.

Time of the day isn't too important, but I would try to make it the same time of day each time.

There are no rules around food or drink. It makes no difference to the effect of the medicine.
