Aggressive dog

We have 2 dogs. Both females.Dog Y was brought when dog X was 1 year old.First, though X did not accept her, after 1 month everything is fine. Now problem is dog X becomes so insecure she always try to dominate Y. We observe that X attacks Y when

1. If we scold X for creating some nuisance , she listens to us , but after we leave that place, she attacks Y as if she has to blame for.i.e she always turn on her when she cant express her anger on us.
2. If we show more love to Y, she (i.e.X) becomes jealous & attacks Y violently.
3. For X, for all faults of everybody, Y is to blame, & so she attacks her.
But except sudden violent attack, both X & Y are very playful, care for each other. In spite of her violent attack on Y, she also cares more for X, if Y becomes ill , X stops taking food.
Is there any homeopathy medicine for violent behavior of dog X ??

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
We have also noticed that due to frequent attacks by dog X, dog Y becomes timid, less playful, less responding at our command, & also sometimes show slight aggressive to us especially when she is hiding in fear for X.She also fear for loud noise, specially fireworks. She is showing sign of depression, i think. please advice .

Hmmm... I would consider Hysocamus for this problem (Dog X). Jealousy when a new child comes into the family, violent jealousy, attacks out of jealousy. Perhaps Hyoscamus 30c, given daily for no more than 3 days. It is better to give a medicine in liquid form (drops) - 3 drops dropped directly into the mouth. Don't put the remedy in their bowel of water and let them go back and forth to drink it. Each time they drink is a dose, and it can cause an overdose.

I might also consider Lachesis for the same reasons as above.

With dog Y - I would try to solve the problem X has, and see if it improves her confidence. If not, then we can look for a remedy for her as well.

Thank you.But dont understand the dose, you mean Hyoscyamus 30c for 3 days, daily 3 dose, 1 drop=1 dose OR daily 1 dose with 3 drops ?? Is the medicine name is correct ? I have noticed 2 different spellings so i googled it, found another spelling, please advice.

It will be the same remedy - it is sometimes spelled slightly differently.

3 drops is one dose. Do this once each day for a maximum of 3 days. If there is any noticeably worsening of symptoms stop immediately and give no more doses for the time being. Otherwise continue with all 3 days and then watch for a few days to see what happens.

ok,thank you so much, will report you after 10 days of giving medicine.

After you have given those 3 doses, you can let me know what kind of reaction he has had. It may be fast or not, but you can report then.

Gave her 3 doses on 17,18,19 Feb. But we have not seen any change in her behavior.

What has happened with your dogs?

dog x is showing some improvements. we have seen less attack on dog y by dog x.

But the depression of dog y is worsening day by day.Sometimes she also stops taking food. We have observed that wind & sounds of rain also frightened her along with sound of crackers & thunderstorms. The most worrying factor for us right now is avoiding food by her ( dog y )

You can try the Bach flower
rescue remedy on dog Y-

see if that helps, as I have
seen that help quite a few
dogs that are nervous from noise.

Alright lets address the most obvious peculiar symptom:

Fear of fireworks - Phosphorous.

Give her 3 doses of Phosphorous 30c.

this fear psychosis & depression is really taking its toll. Its raining from last night & she is just panting heavily & completly empty stomach. Will report you after 3 doses of phosphorous 30c

One more thing , attack by dog x is going on though its like once in a week now as compared to earlier 7 times a day. Should we give her medicine again or increase dose ?? please advice .

When was the last time you had a vet examine her? These symptoms sound like they could be pointing to some kind of physical pathology.

We have tried all vets in the town.Everyone says that both dogs are completely normal physically except dog y having depression & dog x having adjustment issue. For fear of loud noise, rain, wind, crackers they administered drugs which did not work. For aggressiveness of dog x they also gave medicine which make dog x drowsy but did little help. One suggests us to visit a dog psychologist & behavior specialist, unfortunately which we don't have in our small town. After allopathy fails, on advice of a family friend we approached homeopathy.
