Itching Skin

My skin has recently begun to itch. Acute condition. Sulphur did NOT work.

Location of Itch: Upper Abdomen, underside of forarms, genitals, chest & neck. (seems to be where there is thin skin).

No rash, no redness, no discoloration, dryness or markings. Skin looks normal.

Time of Itching: Can begin very early in morning (5-6 am), then upon waking, noon, 3pm, 6pm, 8pm. Times are not exact - itch is wandering.

Itch is wandering. Scratching seems to make it itch more. If I leave it be, itch will go away. Itch lasts a few minutes.

When the symptom first began it was once a day, now itch is in more various places occurring more throughout the day as the days pass.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Are your chronic health issues still the same?

How do you know this is an acute?

Nevermind. I discovered the itch was being caused by something new I was eating. Itch stopped when I stopped eating it. Sometimes the fix can really be that simple!
