Left Upper Eyelid- Ptosis
Hi about 13 years ago a doctor accidentally tore my eyelid muscle while trying to remove some scar tissue from my eye. Since then I have had two eye surgeries to try to make my eye open wider but the eyelid muscle is weak. What can I do? Please help!![message edited by glodivina on Wed, 15 Apr 2015 02:59:08 BST]

please don't eat or drink sour things after you take the medicine. sour things can interfere with medicine action.

Hi-
What was the result of surgery? Anything?
Because this condition is not supposed to have
anything to do with muscle strength- but how
it is attached.
From an MD:
I can make this analogy: lets say you have a hugely powerful bicep muscle. but if your hand isn't holding onto the weight, no matter how much the muscle contracts, the weight isn't going to be lifted off the floor. Same thing with levator muscle and the eyelid.

take one dose lycopodium 200 in the morning. if nothing happens this time also kindly consult another person.

The result of the surgery was that the the levator muscle was weak. What happened was that a doctor accidentally tore the eye lid muscle and he connected it back together. Eye is about 1.8-2.0 mm difference than my right eye. I will try Lycopodium 200 once I order it and it comes in. Thank you for your help :)

Still dealing with this issue, I took Lycopodium but there was nothing to report since there was not any change.
