Question about homeopathy during pregnancy
Hello all, just wanted to make sure that using the constitutional remedy for me (Sepia) won't affect my unborn baby in a negative way. I feel I need to go from 30c to the next step up, 200c, and I didn't want that potency to affect the mental or emotional development of the baby. Thanks in advance for the help.alaskamom on 2015-07-01

pregnancy is a good time for constitutional treatment. the body is in turmoil and all hidden things surface. the baby will also be healthier. however the doctor must be an expert. if you do not know such a doctor it is better not to employ homeopathy during pregnancy. if you have been prescribed sepia by somebody who knows his business there is no danger. sepia is a long acting medicine and should not be repeated often. sepia 200 can be used safely only once in a month. proper antidote in case of necessity is sulphur. you may use it in 30 potency.

Good to know, thank you. The Sepia had been recommended by someone who was knowledgeable, but it was prior to me getting pregnant. I felt that a lot of the same symptoms were surfacing during pregnancy, and the 30c of Sepia had helped, but I felt I needed to repeat it often. Hence wanting to try 200c. Last time I tried it (not pregnant), I got a lot of aggravations on it, but I was going to dilute it way down and see if it would be helpful. Does that sound reasonable?
