Pl. help - Otitis media in a 5 year old

My 5 year old has middle ear infection and has been prescribed surgery. I believe homeopathy can help prevent surgery. She has been suffering from worms as well. She cries for every reason and is very timid. She used to complain of ear ache long back when we took her to the physicians and has not complained since, but we were told to subject her to some audio tests and surgery has been prescribed. Pl. help! Thanks !
