Scalp

Dr. Nawaz,
Apologies- I can't seem to be able to post pictures, nor delete posts that were supposed to have them.
Anyway, my daughter finished the prescribed course of Alumen. We have the Rhus Tox (not yet used) & Brionya on the way.
General comments: the hole from the Pilonidal cyst closed dramatically fast between Sunday night & Monday afternoon when nurse came. She panicked that it closed on top & left open sinus inside, so sent us to hospital where surgeon was only too happy to recommend surgery without ordering MRI. We're against it of course.
Other: scalp looks better, although there's still some harder raised skin and flakes. Face has raised, red-looking skin (looks like acne, but it's not).
We've cut all sugar just in case.
Let me know what would be the next thing to do.
Many thanks in advance!

Hi, Surgery must never be an option in this case. Please wait and see.

Please give her Calc Phos 200C, 1 time a day, for 3 days.

Many prayers for her good health.

Oops! I gave an extra day of Calc Phos (1 dose for 4 days instead of 3). Now nothing is running at all and no smell. But skin hasn't closed properly where the wound is. Looks like skin is falling inwards towards what seems like a very tiny hole (can't even tell by looking at it- perhaps only as small as a pin). Almost looks like a nest under the skin. Right at that point skin is also darker- almost purple, like a bruise. I notice that it has a tendency to look better in the morning and get progressively worse looking by night, although now less obvious as it seems more stable. Three days ago, skin on face terrible with obvious case of ringworm and skin flaking a lot. I put Manuka honey on face and all looks great, but the point is that it happened as the night before daughter ate 5 Belgian chocolates- so sugar, inflammation and fungi seem to be the problem. Since then, she's been banned from any sweets at all.
Let me know what we could do next. Also for your information, my daughter seems to have hands that at times are too sweaty.
Many thanks as always.

Please do not over dose. Do you have Sulphur 200C?

nawazkhan 8 years ago
I don't but can have it for Tuesday. What dose/how long? I only have the Rhus Tox 200c and Manuka honey +20.

Please let me know when you get Sulphur 200C.

It's 2nd day of treatment and her cyst burst: there's something that looks like phlegm but it's definitely puss (like a thick paste) and a bit of pink blood. The puss itself looks mixed with a pinky mass, to give impression of phlegm. There's a discreet smell of ...beans! I have my daughter in a bath with Epsom and Himalayan salts, just also added some bentonite too. Shall we continue with Sulphur 200c? Many-many thanks!

(Continued)- On second inspection, I think the wound which had closed but looked like a pimple, opened and what comes out is very little of yellow liquid (presumably puss) mixed with pink blood. The phlegm looking, soft pink tissue doesn't want to come out, so I think it's granulation tissue. It looks very soft and clean after bath last night. Many thanks again in advance!

Dr Nawaz,
Yes, it looks like it. Yesterday morning whole area was soft around wound for first time ever. By lunchtime it got a bit hard again but just around wound). This fleshy bit is still protruding from opening and wound is letting minimal yellow puss off- no odour at all. Also, she says she doesn't feel pain or anything from the area. She's now taken Sulphur over 4 days as required- last dose yesterday. What should we do next? PS The ringworm seems to have left, but within hours of having a hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream (1st naughty treat in last week or more), she got red patches in the face, and small pimples in body. Head seemed bit itchy too. Many thanks for your guidance!

Correction: the big ringworm marks from face gone, flare up from last night subdued today, but small ringworm on neck (which is where it was first seen a few months ago, before it "disappeared").

Dear Dr. Nawaz,
The suggested course of Alumen 30C has just finished. This opening with protruding piece of wet looking flesh hasn't closed. Right at opening the skin just above it is thinner and darker (like in an inflamed pimple). Towards the opening just under the skin there seem to be a couple of tracts: these feel like tunnels and are harder to the touch. In past few days I'd press on these and liquid puss would come out through the fleshy protrusion. Today it's just hurting to the touch if I press a bit more forcefully. The length of these tracts is no more than a couple of centimetres from opening.
I wish I could post a pic. Anyway, many thanks in advance!

What is the exact color of PUS?

Get hold of Sulphur 200C and Calc Phos 200C.

Many prayers........

Creamy- off white. On gauze it looks yellow. Not solid. I have both: what to give when?
Our thanks!

Hi,

Please give Only One Dose of Sulphur 200C asap.

Many prayers for you.

Sulphur 200c was given about 13 hours ago. A sticky, bloody piece (like snot!) came out- dark red in colour mixed with something else. Protrusion from opening still there, though looks flatter. Earlier in day it looked like it had bled. Anyway, above opening of wound, skin looks red- angrier and hard to the touch. If pressed it causes a bit of pain, otherwise no pain. Orange puss (yellow with tiny bit of blood) coming out - no noticeable smell.
Our continued thanks for your guidance.

But, what happened to the black color skin?

When was the last period completed?

nawazkhan 8 years ago
Can't seem to find reference to black skin, but it looks much better now compared to 24hrs ago. Less area appears red at top of wound (about half the size from yesterday). Protrusion seems to be receding. Sticky white puss oozed just a tiny bit in the morning. Now nothing comes out really even with some pressure applied. Wound used to be darker, now still purple but much lighter.
Period: last one was 27/8-3/9 and no other has come (status not pregnant of course).
I need to say that I mixed up the bottles and my daughter had Ars Alb 200C one dose, 12 hours before taking the prescribed Sulphur 200C.
