Eczema
Hello Dr.My 3 year old son is suffering from Eczema for the past 8-9 months.
1. He has got worst dark rashes in the joints(both legs and both hands)
2. Intensly itchy at midnight 2-3am
3. Intense scratching results in bleeding
4. Worse in the warmth of the bed
5. Eczema became much better when in india(Jun-Aug), right hand cured completely, right leg was much better.
6. Cold weather making it worse.
7. Suspect eating oranges causes flare ups, but not sure
8. Redness under the eye lids
9. Dry skin behind ears and in the neck
10. Hyper active, very opinionated
Please suggest me a solution.

Thanks for your suggestion, i have a small clarification, i read graphites is given for eczema that has thick honey like liquid oozing from the rashes. But my son doesnt have such symptoms. Also, he is not obese.
Sorry i am not questioning your prescription as i understand you have so much of experience as hoempath, rather im trying to present my case more clearly. Just for the clarity sake, i am attaching some photos

since this eczema gets worse in cold and warmth of bed, this is main charcterstic of graphites.
So we should try this first.

I'd like to provide update on the condition and thought of getting further advice.
I gave graphites for 2 days(3 tabs (30c) per day), his overall skin cndition looked better on those two days. Redness under the eyes was fully gone on those two days.
This was on 17th and 18th of this month. It has been 5 days now. Now the condition looks little worse. His left had is looking very much worst. From both the hands a transparent watery thing is coming, doesnt smell. Now his neck is also having rashes.
Every night around 3am he is having uncontrollable itch. On the days he was given graphites his itch was much better in the night.
In the afternoon naps he not having itch, so i doubt whether his condition is worsening in the warmth of the bed.
We are applying only emollients at the moment, but its worsening day by day. Redness under the eye is back.
Can you please suggest something?

ok since it has become chronic so it will take time, do not worry, repeat, give GRAPHITES 30c liquid, 2 drops in a tablespoon water, 3 times a day for 2 days,

I started with Graphite yesterday, his itch came down considerably last night, redness under the eyes are gone, rashes in legs and hands have dried considerably. Transparent liquid oozing has completely stopped.
Im anxious now, shall i continue graphite for few more days? Pls suggest.

no do not repeat it now, let body do its self healing process,

Sorry for the late reply, i gave him the dose, everytime when i give him graphites i could see his eczema goes very dry immediately and after some time goes back as same dark patch. Its extremely itchy in nights and he scratches intensely, which causes inflammation in the areas, also at times results in cuts with blood.
Please let me know the next course of action.

I happened to visit your thread and note that you first posted on October 14 and you were prescribed Graphites 30c by your consultant here on the ABC. This remedy has not cured your son and if your advisor does not object and you would like to use my therapy aka “Joepathy” you may do so and report progress in a week.

May I suggest that you use my default therapy for Eczema which has CURED many stubborn cases which you can read about on my Website?
I shall copy my default therapy for Eczema which I hope can help you.
The remedy that has helped many is Arnica 6c in the Wet dose taken twice daily orally, and also applied directly on the lesions as often as is possible, to keep the lesions damp.
It is essential that the patient continues to take just ONE dose of Arnica 6c nightly just before bed for at least 6 months after the problem has been resolved as there is every chance that the lesions can return otherwise.
The use of a spray device in which the medicated water can be stored and be sprayed on the acne lesions is best.
You will not take any drugs when you start my therapy.
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in a 5ml Alcohol pack aka Liquid Dilution in a bottle with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake it hard to produce bubbles. This is homeopathic succussion and must be done every time before a capful of the bottle which is the dose is taken as directed.
Do not use Coffee, Cola beverages, preserved foods like sausages, ham and bacon as they contain Saltpeter.
Please post your response to the Arnica therapy in a week.

Thanks for your response, i am running out of stock on graphites, dont have it for 7 days(only 5 tabs left), so have ordered one today, i shall start your prescribed dosage from tomorrow. I'll report the results in 15 days.

I happened to read about your treatment, i read most of your post which dates back to 2004/05 and appreciate your commitment. I am not ignoring your treatment rather i dont want to break the current course of treatment that i receive from Mr.Antivirus.
I'll take up your treatment in future if nothing works out. But i'd like to try it myself before i try it on my 3yr old. Thanks a lot for your response to the thread.

Hi Antivirus,
I started the course yesterday, just wanted to you know a thing i noticed sometime back. I live in a coastal area and whenever i travel away from coastal area his itching seems to subside.
Is this anyway linked to the condition?
