13 month baby takes for ever to eat meals
Hi need help, My 13 month old daughter takes hours to take one meal. She do not fuss or cry rather she takes very small portion from the spoon full. It's like she finishes half spoon in 10 bites.She just swallow a small portion of it pushes rest out of her mouth. And if I try to push a bigger bite in she vomits out all she had eaten. It's becoming very depressing as the entire day is spent in her feeding. I would add here she is suffering of acid reflux since she was 8 weeks for which no allopathic medicines helped much. She better since I started Natrum Phosphoricum 2 tablets after every meal. She is also having oral thrush for past 10-12 days. She walks with support and speaks just mama/papa. Children not eating well is generslly liver problem . Natrum phos will palliate acid reflux but cannot cure. Continued use may create more problems.

What can be given to cure acid reflux?
Sharing the complete story of my baby.
Born caesarian on 6sept 2014 with 3.3 kg weight. No problems found in 2 days of hospital care. Started getting choked while feeding 2nd week onwards. But was gaining good weight so doctor didn't cared much rather suggested to elevate her he'd while feeding. Later when she started denying feed at 5 weeks he prescribed antibiotics and diagnosed acute infection.
This was followed by inconsolable hours of cry and burps through the night. Also started denying feeds for as long as 6 hours. Doctor suggested to start top feed and force feed. By this time she was 7 weeks and had started vomiting ever bit of top feed/mother feed given forcefully and hardly use to feed.
We looked for better doctors and more antibiotics where given.
We started approaching top doctors they started doubting bigger diseases named Hirsch's prung. We lived under its fear for next 7 months till a rectal biopsy was done to rule it out.
Then doctor started calling problem acid reflux but with no proper solution.
To total she still vomits at even by a drop of water/milk/food/medicine or even while swallowing food which no doctor is able to cure. Hoping you can help I have come over to this forum.

So should I discontinue Natrum Phosphoricum.
Forget to to tell she was treated for her vomits by a local homeopath but I don't think that medicine did any thing as her vomits were as it is inspite of this treatment.
Also she caught up cold from me.

No her cold is bad, I have started allopathic medicines as cold was so bad it was making her vomit food.

I gave her 1 dose of sepia30 with an improvement in feeding time reduced to 45 mins.
Would like to add here she always use to get hiccups after every feed when she was 2-3 days old this continued till the age of 6 weeks when she started pushing me away when trying to feed and crying high for hours usually in the evening or night but at any hour of day.

We give her some calcium and vitamin supplements, should that also be stopped.

Allopathic medicine sometimes interfere with homeopathy. cure the cold first then you can deal with the eating problem.

Cold is now almost gone but now she has wheezing sound in her chest which as per doctor is due to allergic weather in Delhi.

Hi sorry for late reply actually her vomits increased and kept me occupied so I was not able to reply.
I gave her sepia30 as suggested but no improvement. She still eats that slow.
