Dog with Staph infection

Our retriever mix was diagnosed with a staff infection by our local vet. Her symptoms are round patchy red areas (ringworm has been ruled out) with hair coming out in tufts. There is no apparent itching or pain at the sites.
Her demeanor is friendly, with a tendency to frequent barking, and she is fearful of wind and loud noises due to hurricane experiences. She is 13 years old. Is there a single remedy that would be advisable for her condition?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Susan,

I don't know if this helps but, if you type Staph infection in the search forum blank box there are a few past postings about Staph infections. Hopefully someone else will post. I am still looking for an answer for you.

Again, thank you for your help. I checked the Staph posts previously and am still looking as well.
