Fibromyalgia/ CRPS/ Ankolysing SpondalitisDetails:44 year female
Broke left foot 6 years ago. Crushed ball of the foot and left big toe. Foot/Bone didn't heal for long time. I guess caused nerve damage. Toe fused. Doctors said CRPS.
Wear soft shoe on left foot all the time. Water inflames it - poofs up as a balloon. Can't have it touched. Foot is very sensitive to touch. Need to wear shoe while in bed as well. Haven't worn normal shoes since accident. Haven't been able to work and my physical ailments have forced me to be more bed bound.
Been going to slate of doctors for cure - Tried Bier Block - that didn't work as veins have atrophied and the doctor couldn't find the vein.
Allopathy only wants to provide pain management techniques which make me fuzzy and don't help. Have been living off Alleve (IBuprofin) and Lycoderm patches on my back.
2). Because of all the tests - Found out have Ankolysing Spondalytis as well as Fibromyalgia to go with the CRPS.
3). Pain symptoms are present 24/7. Migraines/ back pain /rib pain.Sleep is weak and broken.
Hands swell in evening and early morning. Change in weather makes it worse. Heat weather makes hands and feet swell.
Key comfort is milk. I drink milk in the morning and night. I love sleeping with heating pad on my back. If I could sleep like that all day - it would be wonderful but have teenage kids that need my attention.
4). Went to a classical Homeopathic doctor recently who prescribed Hypericum. Took it for 20 days but it made me feel jittery - but helped me with headaches which get stronger during my periods.
Stopped taking it due constant bloating and feeling of jitterniness in the chest - as if I have had coffee. As soon as I stopped after 20 days - the headache pain came back Was told that if medicine worked it would have worked for all aspects so the doctor prescribed - Radium Bromatum - but that didn't do anything.
I went back to Hypericum a week ago as I felt it helped a little bit in the headaches but it definitely makes me feel agitated and jittery.
Any suggestions for medications. I seem to be very sensitive to medications but my pain threshold is high.
