belladonna safety

I have used belladonna with confidence for some time now. I recently suggested to a friend that she try it for herself when she was ill. She was quick to inform me that it was toxic and could cause nervous tremors, blurred vision, and even death. I've heard all this before, but believe that even 30x potency is relatively low, as well as harmless. I even treat my infant with belladonna when needed. I've never really thought about it harming him, especially in comparison to some of the things the doctors suggest like high dose antibiotics, or immunizations, which we don't do. I was just wondering where I could find some positve information I could supply her with. When I did type in belladonna on the internet, I came up with websites to buy it, or about the deadly nightshade plant, which does state the negative. If anyone is familar with a site or even a good homeopathic book, please let me know. I also would like to know the translation in c potencies vs. x potencies. Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
At 12c there is no possibility of any molecule of the original substance being included.

THE SIGN X equals dilution by 10
the sign C " " " 100

30 x is normally considered quite safe.

12c is categorically safe but BOOTS the Chemists sell 6c to the general public.

There is no question that Bell 12c is absoluetly safe to be used whenever it is indicated like right now when a virus that affects the throat seems to be endemic worldwide.

Bell 30c in the liquid dose is the most effective and the dose is to take a teaspoonful every 3 hours if one notes some unusual phlegm formation in the throat which is usually the precedes the full blown infection.

The majority of Homeopathic remedies are absolutely safe in use unless one is very unfortunate to aggravate an ailment especially with deep acting remedies.
