The reason I suggested is to clean any impediments from one of the three possible miasms and this most commonly slows the growth. It is perfectly ok to not give this and still expect to make progress on your daughters growth

My apologies for the delay. For your daughter, hope you are continuing both the remedies. Calc Phos, three times is better. Have you noticed any changes (in eating habits, making friends, calmness etc) after starting the medicine

For your son, it will help and expedite the results, if you could provide the picture of his tongue. A pale indicates lack of heat and the dark pink or red indicates excess heat. It takes totally a different direction of medicine for both these types. Similarly which part of the tongue has a coating, if any, give a lot more information. If you have difficulties in taking picture of the tongue and post in this forum, please let me know. I can ask a set of questions to answer for getting his constitution.
