Hi Barb
Did your doc. prescribed for the blood test to find the reason for anemia. There are various tests like CBC,Iron Test,Peripheral smear extra. Also stool test to rule out gastrointestinal bleeding, upper endoscopy, colonoscopy etc. Because unless you know the reason for the blood loss things can't move on for your allopathic doctors.
Also medications and chronic deseases leads to these anemic conditions. I saw your query on Dry Gangrene and Allergy for your husband. And saw the remedies given at an instant Without going into much history. And in your husbands case he is 81 and many complications included. I don't know how much you understand homoeopathy but an aggravation from any medicine given without proper diagonosis into the patients physical or At Least mental makeup might be bad for anyones health.
Lastly my humble request to all the seeker for medicines is that unless the 'Giver of medicine' particularly Homoeopathic remedies gives you medicines without a couple of important query with the case under consideration Then its proper for you to ask him to ask you about other physical or mental symptoms. Because homoepathy doesn't works this way. There are some ethics to it.
