Urgent help needed with knee injury

I am a 24 year old male. Last Monday, 20th Jan, I fell down while skiing and while trying to get up, my right knee twisted and I heard a pop sound. I could tell that something had sprained as the knee started hurting immediately while walking. The pain surrounds a strip along the inner knee and sometimes extends to the calf and thigh. There is some swelling that is more apparent when I walk on the knee. The knee hurts to put weight on and bend in certain angles.
Please advise on what should I take. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow. I have taken few doses of Arnica. Can someone please advise what to take. I also applied ice on that area for last few days. Should I continue to ice? Your prompt help is greatly appreciated.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Continue with Arnica every 3 - 4 hours and Symphytum 30or 200c every 3 - 4 hours a day until relieved.
1 dose is 2 pills or 2 drops.

You may also consider Bryonia if the pain is so much worse every time you move. And Rhus tox if you feel much stiffness around your knee.

Arnica 200
5drops+100ml water
Shake the bottle 8 times before every dose
Take 10ml from the bottle every morning in empty stomach
Continue for 3 days only.
Then Start: Causticum 30

Continue for 3 days.
Keep updating.

I visited the doctor today. He took X-ray & ultrasound and wanted me to get MRI done also. Its a meniscus tear plus MCL light sprain. He said I need to wear a special brace to give it support and lock the knee so I can do normal walking. And, then come back in 1-2 weeks for a checkup.
Please let me know which all medicines, in which potency to take and how many doses.
Appreciate a prompt response.
Thanks.

Continue with Arnica 30 or 200c and add Symphytum 30 or 200c as I've suggested and you need Rhus tox 200c, twice daily for the ligament sprain and meniscus tear until you get much relief. As you started to feel better, reduce the frequency of the remedies.

And support you knee with a brace as your doctor has suggested.

I have been taking the medicine as you said for almost 2 weeks now. I wear brace for support, most of the time except during sleep. When not wearing the brace, There is some pain around the meniscus and the knee feels somewhat unstable. Should I continue the medicine or change?
Thanks.

Do you feel any changes? Any improvement? Pain? Or you feel exactly the same as before starting the remedies?

I feel better and the pain is less than earlier. It is improving in general.
But there is still some pain around the meniscus and the knee feels somewhat unstable, when I am not wearing the brace.
So, should I continue having the same medicine.

Thanks.
