Query about potency
I've worked out that LM13 is approximately the same solute:solvent ratio i.e. concentration as 30C. However LM13 undergoes 13 dilutions and 30C undergoes 30. Which is more potent and why?[Edited by an_actualiser on 2020-06-18 11:37:43]

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
LM13 would be potent than 30c. In terms of dynamisation LM is superior to C though in terms of dilution it may be inferior to C.

Thanks.
Does anyone know how much lower the LM concentration would have to be to equal the C concentration in potency?

LM1 has the same concentration of 5.5c and every incremental LM concentration would add 2.5 to the count, so 13LM should be 38c and 30c would be approx. 10/10.2 LM. In real life scenario, we rarely would need these counts. For dosing purpose if one patient has taken 30c and is then moved to LM scale some homeopaths would choose to start with LM2---part of rough correlation.
