Bacterial Vaginosis

Hello, I was wondering if I could get some assistance on picking a remedy for my condition: basically it started from what I believe was unprotected sexual encounter a few months ago. Tested negative for STDs, tested positive for bacterial vaginosis. Basically the symptoms started as itchiness, a fishy smell, and profuse watery discharge, and even some pelvic pain and burning at some point. I was prescribed antibiotics but decided not to use. For a couple of weeks now, I have been controlling it with oregano oil by mouth. The odor and pain has basically gone, but the main symptom I have been dealing with for weeks is the watery discharge- indicating something is still not right. Its sometimes clear, or milky, but can appear yellowish on my liners.

Overall, I have been emotionally distraught by this. I have feelings of anxiety and shame over my health, fearing I will not be able to procreate because of PID. I am early 30s, menstruating. I feel guilt and shame over the encounter, but I also felt manipulated into it and so I feel a little more traumatic over the vaginal infection as I had always been “normal” down there prior to this. I read horror stories online and keep thinking it will be my experience. As I said, was prescribed flagyl but I rather solve it through natural means. I am prone to depression, and health anxiety. I appreciate your feedback.
