Inflamed finger
Hello,My finger is swollen, red and painful to the touch for 5 days now. I do have the bad habit of biting my nails.
I took on my own Hepar Sulph 30C for 2-3 days but dont see any improvement :(. I dont know what else to do.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

What was the reason?
How did it happen?
What do you feel in swollen area?
Pain, itching, burning etc?
Is it worse by touching or movement?

Thank you for your interest and sorry for answering so late but am falling down with something because since today I have fever with 38 degrees Celsius....
Ive been under a lot of stress the last 2 weeks because my landlady wants me to leave the apartment and I havent found a new place to live...
So I was having my mind elsewhere and didnt pay much attention to the inflamed finger since I often pull and bite on the nails and cuticles and from time to time they get inflamed but heal quickly afterwards. But this time it didnt heal and it is swollen and somehow blue and with white layer of puss (I guess) close to the nail. But it is all under the skin and no puss has been able to come out so far. At first it was very tender and painful to the touch but now it is not painful and I can touch it but is equally swollen.
As if this wasnt enough since last Sunday evening I have extremely painful left shoulder. Actually the whole left arm is painful and I cannot put on my clothes or do much with the hand. I had a very unpleasant conversation with the landlady last Sunday and later that night I got a frozen shoulder. Coincidence? I really dont know.
I am really depressed and sad with all that is happening in my life, I really hate changes in general and it is extremely difficult for me to adapt to new things.

Belladonna 30C
HOW TO TAKE THE REMEDY:
Please take There doses. Just THREE doses. NOT DAILY.
WHAT IS A DOSE:
Get the remedy in liquid:
Take 20 ML of water in a water bottle (dont use any other bottle) put 5 drops of the remedy in it, hit the bottle atleast 6 times (shaking the bottle is not enough) and keep it for 5 minutes then use 1 sip from it. Do the same activity for next doses.
TIME OF DOSE:
First dose: As soon as you get the remedy or early morning as soon as you get up, wash your mouth with plain water (dont brush), take the remedy.
Second dose: 12 hrs after the first dose.
Third dose: 12 hrs after the second dose.
PRECAUTIONS:
If there is significant worsening of symptoms (called homeopathic aggravation) after the first dose, then don’t take the second dose.
Don’t take any other homeopathic remedy during this treatment.
Avoid eating/drinking any thing before or after 30 minutes of taking a dose.
During the treatment, don’t eat anything which you have never had all your life.
HOMEOPATHIC AGGRAVATION
Sometimes the symptoms for which treatment is being done can worsen after taking the homeopathic remedy. This is homeopathic aggravation and a good sign. It usually dies down within 24-48 hrs. During this time you can use any non-medicinal means to keep yourself comfortable. If the aggravation seems excessive, you can use any & all means necessary (including taking allopathic medicines) to keep yourself comfortable. Keep your homeopath fully updated if this happens.
HOW TO GIVE FEEDBACK:
A good example of how to report your progress is by giving %age improvement or worsening for all your health problems e.g.
Emotions: e.g. Feeling of happiness improved 40%
Energy level: e.g. Feeling of tiredness reduced 70%
Main health problem: e.g. Nasal discharge reduced 50%
Other health problems: e.g. acne>Acne increased 60%
Anything new: Depression: e.g. Loose stool started
And so on list all your complaints.
HOW TO KNOW IF YOU ARE GETTING CURED:
Any cure in homeopathic treatment will always follow this rule (Hering’s Law of Cure) otherwise it’s not cure, just palliation. The cure must proceed from centre to circumference. From centre to circumference is from above downward, from within outwards, from more important to less important organs, from the head to the hands and feet.
GENERAL INFO ABOUT HOMEOPATHIC PRESCRIBING:
If someone is giving several remedies, without waiting to see the effect of one remedy, then it is totally against the core principles of homeopathy. Such an approach is unlikely to give permanent cure, rather it may distort actual symptoms making subsequent cure even more difficult.
Dont drink water along with the medicine.
Note: Avoid Strong smell, Coffee, Raw Garlic, Raw Onion, Hing and Tobacco in any form.
Report back with the changes observed during this period.

A small update on my situation:
I took belladonna30c on November 16th morning and evening and the last dose the next day.
The finger very quickly in 1-2 days got full of puss and I made a tiny hole with a needle and the puss leaked out.
The finger is no longer swollen or painful. There is only a purplish color on the skin where the swelling was but the finger is healing.
The arm is 80% better. There is pain and restricted motion from a point on when lifting my arm up.
As for the flu like symptoms. On the 16th I had 37.2 (8:00), 36.6(10:00) then went to work and again 37.1(20:00)
Since then I havent had any fever.

I just wanted to mention another problem I have with my right knee. It has been bothering me for a year. I cannot squat from the pain at the back of the knee. The knee wasnt bothering me that much recently and now it started hurting again. I must have made some movement that put too much weight on it and made it worse. Also my left toe hurts when I walk. I have the feeling that the problem is in my joints.
