Belladonna in children

Hi everyone, Im pretty new to homeopathy. Ive used a few remedies for allergies, but nothing major. My 4 year old daughter came down with a 104 fever two days ago, and all I had on hand was Aconitum napellus. I dosed her with that through the night, and the next morning called the pediatrician. Since she couldnt keep anything down, the pediatrician told us to take her to the ER for fluids. On the way to the ER, we stopped at a health store and got some Belladonna. I gave her some about 45 minutes before we got to the hospital. She got fluids, and I wouldnt let the nurses give her anything else. I told them I was using a homeopathic remedy, which I probably shouldnt have said.
My daughter was discharged after a few hours of fluids and we were sent home. She still has a 101 fever, but shes eating, drinking, and talking to us. She seems to be on the mend.
Then this morning I got a call from the doctor that saw her yesterday. She said that she looked up Belladonna and said that it causes all the symptoms that she had. I told her it was a homeopathic remedy, safe for children, and I had only given it to her right before we came to the hospital. I didnt INDUCE her illness with the Belladonna. Its like she was calling to check and see if I was poisoning my child. Now Im worried that shes going to report us and well have to defend ourselves to CPS.
What do you do when your child is ill and needs fluids if you cant take them to the hospital? If you do have to take them, how do you keep from running into issues like this? If I said I didnt want her to have any medications, they would think that was a red flag by itself. What do you do?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
There were some cases in news some months ago where Hylands (I think) had combo remedies that had belladonna in them and there were adverse effects in babies- I think they took those off market. So perhaps the dr knew about that.
You can go online and talk to a dr or talk to a homeopath if you need urgent help.

Yeah, I remember when that happened. That was for teething medicine. I just looked it up and it said the level of belladonna wasn’t uniform throughout the product, so some had more and some had less. I just used the Boiron brand.
