Unable to find Belladonna in anything less than a 30ch. Did find homeopathic eye drops that contains Belladonna 6. Will use this regularily and will report back on Sunday after we return from holidays. Thanks again Girilal.

Belladonna is used in eye mediicines to dialate the pupils. It relaxes the eye nerves. Definately it would help him.

Optometerists mind only eyesight measurments, they are not trained to look into eye problems.

Just returned from holidays. Have been giving the homeopathic eye drops thrice daily. Slight improvment but still doing it frequently. I am still going to get Belladonna 6ch for him tomorrow wn get back to work. Should the eye drops with Belladonna 6x have worked by now? Any other advice at this point or should I keep on with the plan?

He seems to have a scratch on his left eye. It goes from the coloured part of his eye right onto his pupil.

What should be done?

Girilal,

I wanted to report to you that my sons eyes are now back to normal. We have been giving the eyes drops for about 6 days now. Also yesterday I finally got ahold of Belladonna 6ch and started that as well. It took 4 days to start noticing improvement and on the 5th day his problem stopped all together. I will continue this treatment for another week unless you advise different.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for your help. I am truly grateful.

My son is also 7 and we are going through the same thing. He came home from school yesterday because a boy in his clss was mocking him. My son is also very sensitive but less confident than your son. Please, please let me know if you resolve it. It is stressing me out!

Unfortunetely the problem has returned. It turned out he did not have a scratch but rather a persistant pupilary membrane which I mistook for a scratch. The belladonna in the drops worked for only a short time. Personaly I believe my sons issues are are due to his mental state and we are still working towards finding a remedy that will work for him. Just recently Phosprous for a bad cough that he currently cant get rid of seems to be settling his eyes a little bit. These things take time and I sincerely wish you the best of luck. Please email me and we can talk more if you wish. It would be nice to compare stories.

Hi, first of all please accept greetings from Canada.

I understand that you have vast knowledge about Belladona Q. Quite sometime back I had obtained a bottle of Belladona Q (liquid) from India for use against migraine. However, someone advised me not to use it as it is a dangerous medicine. Grateful if you can let me know as to for what illness it is used and its proper use. Alternatively, suggest if I may destroy it.

Thanks.

Since this thread has been brought up again I thought Id post an update on my son. He has been diagnosd with Chronic Tic Disorder which is a pleasant way of saying he has Touretts Syndrome. He has verbal tics such as Chronic Coughing, makes gruting noises, and now has a bunch of uncontrollable body movements. I have been working very closely with a homeopath but to this point we have not been able to eradicate his issues.

To all that are associated with this subject.. I am 15 and I have similar problems that your sons or daughters have. Since the 6th grade, I have had a terrible eye habit (twitch) and have had help from a dr who works in biofeedback (relaxation). I stopped seeing him a couple years ago, because it didnt help. I still continue to deal with this problem and i was tested to see if I had tourettes, and I didnt. So the cause was stress and anxiety. I still battle with trying to relax, but no matter what i do i still feel the urge to blink like i do. Mainly my anxiety and stress come from school, trying to fit in, taking tests.... the normal stuff. In these years... my habit has turned people away... this is my story... but im curious if any one has any other techniques other then the breathing method to help me reduce my anxiety and stress... Oh and i would exclude the advice of taking pills.

My daughter is 7, which seems to be a common age for this eye problem to begin. She began blinking somewhat within the past year. Now the eye rolling has begun. I can talk about it with here and empathize with her because I had the blinks when I was young, which progressed to eye rolling, which progressed to other facial and body related movements and stretches. I still deal with this though much less. I do have the urge to blink or squint or stretch facial muscles throughout the day, but it's as if it's under control and not outwardly obvious. But I'm 40 and it's still there. I don't want my little girl to have to deal with this so I want to help nip it in the bud if possible. I think hers is related to anxiety, as I believe mine was/is. Social stress, etc. I always felt out of balance. I'm taking her to our homeopath student friend. He's helped her in the past. I'll report if something helps this time around. Hang in there Lex92 and all of you parents.

This is an interesting site. I just put my daughter to sleep after massaging her forehead, scalp, and around her eyes to help her relax. I came to my computer, googled 'blinking behavior children rolling eyes habit' and found this site. Very interesting.

I'm not sure about Turrets, but I do think that massage, chiropractic adjustments (it seems like the atlas and neck area might be involved)helped me out, to help feel more 'balanced' physically. For what that's worth...
