This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
i delivered a female baby preterm at 8 months . was kept in NICU as she had respiratory rate of 60 c/min otherwise she cried well was active. but three days later developed jaundice with srm blrbn of 20. for which she was kept under phototherpy for 4 days and serum blrbn came to 13 . allopath doctor has told she has jaundice still. she cries in sleep very often when her face becomes quite red n calms down on her without waking up often . doctor told me it may be due to colic for which medicine is given. she gets hiccoughs quite often which continues for long time.there is sticky yellow discharge from eyes which has reduced after use of local eye drops but in btween it starts. otherwise she is quite active feeds well. her wait at birth was 1.6kg now after 1 month its 2.4kg. please suggest as i want to manage further on homoeopathy.

Have you considered or been tested for food allergies or intolerance?

You could try doing a two week cleansing diet, which includes taking all 'common' allergens away, such as products with wheat & yeast (such as bread & crackers), dairy, eggs, corn, ect. There is plenty of research out there on doing such a 'cleanse'. The idea is to eliminate such food from your diet for a minimum two weeks, then introduce them again, slowly, one day at a time & see if you get a reaction from them. Reactions include such as you have described, bloating, low energy, flatulence, headaches, skin irritations are some things to look for.

I don't have any homeopathy suggestions, but if you discover a food intolerance, perhaps there is a remedy that can assist you with such.

Best of luck!

Neelam, I just noticed your new posting. You may want to start a new topic with this one as it is a different issue than your first posting.

More help for the jaundice may come if the proffesionals this way.

All the best.
