I have a 6 year old daughter, down syndrome. I recently found a 'master homeopath' with over 26 years of experience. I felt extremely blessed! However, one remedy that she prescribed is one that so many fear that I have allowed fear to creep in. She prescribed Carc C, 200C 3X daily for 5 days and then to repeat in approx a month. Other stories I've read caution taking this remedy for even one time! I would really appreciate somebody putting my mind at ease. I notified the homeopath who reassured me she has been giving this for years and infact has given it to babies with no side effects ever reported to her. My daughter has a lot of the tell tale symptoms of a Carc C and I do know why it would have been chosen. I just need reassurance or at least tell me why it is so feared! Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Assume you refer to
Carcinosin 200c.
There are many scare stories about this remedy developed by Dr Foubister .
They are virtually ALL incorrect. It is a homeopathic remedy the same as any other .
Some have been developed from Snake poisons, Dogs Milk, Strychnine, Anthrax etc .
Personally I do not like the 200c of ANY remedy and would go for 150 or 300 but that is a personal opinion.
