I am in no way to provide homeopathy remedy suggestions, although, i do know some home remdy to help sooth the sore throat.
-Get 1 cup of warm water,then place about 2 to 3 teaspoons of salt then gargle the salt water for about a minute. continue till water is all gone(dont gargle the whole cup of water!)
-hot tea and lemon and honey, tastes good and is easy on the throat
-warm soup! temerarory lessens the pain of the throat
sorry thats all i got, they all seem to be very effective
when used by myself

You are very right.
gargling with warmsalt water,helps to release the sticky phelgum,which is causing the sore throat.
your other suggestions are also very good.
I personally tried all of them, and they do work.
For homeopathic suggestions,more details are to be given,particularly the modalities, causation etc.
